I'm only about a year older than Bowie's son, so while I remember certain key Ziggy/Diamond Dogs/Young Americans songs, his appearance on Soul Train, and his duet with Bing Crosby, I was much too young in those days to realize "all those singers" was actually the same man. Learning the full extent of Bowie's work during the 70s came a lot later for me, and this book is a great reference!
As much as I can imagine it would be the work of a lifetime to give Bowie's entire career from 1958, when young Davy Jones first performed at (I think?) a Boy Scouts fête as an 11 year old to the release of his final masterpiece in 2016 the same treatment, if Mr Griffin could do it, I'd definitely buy it.
