I purchased it in early Jan 2013 for the sole purpose of sprint interval training, in order to augment the range of hip flexion that I'll continue to get from sprinting on a treadmill. This mini-trampoline has a 36½" O.D. round tubular frame, and a 30½" dia web that is suspended by (30) stretch-elastic straps. Although it's branded Gold's Gym, the instruction sheet is published by Stamina Products. The package includes a Stamina Products 35-1625D 36" folding trampoline (see also Stamina 36 inch Folding Trampoline), plus a pair of elastic stretch tubes, and a digital rebound counter.

In comparison, I already owned a 'BodyFit by Sports Authority' mini-trampoline (discontinued), which has a 47" O.D. square tubular frame, a 38" dia web, and (38) steel coil springs.

You must understand the HUGE difference between a larger diameter, more robust design utilizing steel coil springs and a smaller diameter, lighter weight design relying on stretch-elastic straps. The former provides far greater rebound, far greater load capacity, and far greater life than the latter. So why would I ever want a smaller, flimsier piece of equipment than I already own? My exercise sessions occur in my basement, where headroom is quite limited. So I use a trampoline for sprinting only, because trampoline sprinting does not require ceiling height much greater than my standing height. Furthermore, for sprinting, you really don't need or want much in the way of rebound. What you really want for sprinting is shock absorption, plus just enough elasticity to restore the soles of your feet to frame level. Those two trampoline reactions must sync with your "running" movements, which requires damping.

I was originally going to buy a highly rated mini trampoline from amazon, but saw this one on my last trip to Walmart and thought, "why not?" After all, it came with extra things. That was a mistake.
My set did not come with an electronic monitor, which I don't absolutely need, but was still a disappointment not being able to find it.
To top it off, one of the resistance cords snapped off the very first day (my little brother did that and he can't pull it more than I can...I believe it was probably defected), so that's useless. Therefore, I only have the trampoline left. (i should have just purchased the single trampoline that was available)
It was easy to set up (you don't need two persons).
I am approx. 112 lbs and can bounce on it pretty well. The only thing is that it slides when I jump high, so my exercise is limited to light jumps and jogging. the rebound is not that great, but good enough. The kids seem to be getting more out of it.
I don't hate it and still plan to use it. (hence the third star--although it should be halved)
I would not buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

I got this item late today. Earlier than expected. It was very easy to assemble, I did it myself! Now I'm off to better Heath as I jump!
It's exactly what what I expected. No damage with delivery.

Bought the model with the adjustable legs from wal-mart last night, will be returning it. The instructions are extremely confusing and don't tell you everything you need to know. One example, you're told that folding and unfolding it requires two strong people and can result in bodily injury or death if not done right, then you're given a diagram on how to unfold it. There's no step to secure it once it's unfolded. There are two metal "secure pins" located at the hinges where it folds that get a mention, but apparently you... do nothing with them and it secures on its own? I don't know. As for folding it back up again, you're on your own. Guess the manufacturers want to make it hard to repackage and return. :(

The product that I got came with the folded trampoline already assembled with four attached legs folded up inside, an electronic monitor and attachment, safety padding, and an instruction booklet. When unfolded, the legs were very uneven, with two on one side that were positioned farther apart and were longer than the two on the other side and were not adjustable. There was a list of parts somewhere in the back of the manual, but it did not list the contents of the box as they came, instead it listed each and every individual little piece of them as if you would completely take them apart. I was left to assume that there must be parts missing. The diagrams in the instructions are confusing and not helpful for assembly (they only show how to unfold it and how the trampoline is supposed to look in several different leg height configurations) but there appear to be several legs of various lengths that detach from the frame completely which were not included in the box.

A little tough to assemble (I needed to ask my companion, a male who's stronger than I) to put it together. Now that it's up an running, I love it.

The directions to put it together were vague and my husband broke the counter on the first day but it is a fun way to get some aerobics in.
