I have a totally different experience with this mini trampoline than the previous reviewer. First, I bought it at Walmart for $33. It came with a surprise DVD which really helped me figure out what to do with it besides bounce up and down (which, incidentally I do sometimes, just bounce up and down, it's FUN!). I also will say that the one I got is incredibly sturdy and well built. I can jump high enough on it for sure. This is not meant to be a toy, or something like a regular trampoline--it's a rebounder, meant for exercise and balance.

It comes with resistance bands as well. The second half of the DVD is interval training using the resistance band and I can tell you that it was very, very challenging. I can see how, because you can vary the length of the bands (this increasing resistance) making the exercises more difficult as your body becomes more in shape. For me, this is a blast and the product is awesome! I love it.

I own this mini but I bought it at my local Walmart. This is horrible. Absolutely NO BOUNCE!!!! Does seem very sturdy but is only good for keeping you off the ground during other types of exercise. Might be good for children but it's hard on the joints as when you bounce it is very jarring. Gold's should really look in to taking their name off this product. Bouncing on this is worse than just jumping on the floor. I absolutely HATE IT!!! I know, people will say you get what you pay for, however, I owned a mini about 25 years ago that I bought probably at a Jamesway. It had real spring and I used to bounce and bounce and bounce on it while watching TV.. It was great fun and gave me an good workout. Wish I knew what happened to that one. So, if you want something that actually offers some bounce, guess you have to spend the money. I know that's what I'm going to do.

I've owned two of these in the past 2 years; I purchase them at Wal-Mart. They have a pretty limited life cycle, as the elastic straps on the rebounder stretch and lose their elasticity. I'm giving it 2 stars because the arm straps are the most poorly designed and dangerous things. Within a week, both arm straps will snap, and if you're unlucky, they will pop you right in the f-ng face/eye.

I wanted it mostly for the trampoline itself, and am ok with it only surviving a year of use, which is why I bought another one. Those arm straps though... their existance takes stars away from the ranking. On the second one, I took precautions when using them, by using my feet to stop any tugging on the part that's connected to the trampoline. Unfortunately, the handle part is just as flimsy and that snapped off, while the strap hit my foot.

Final verdict, do not even install the arm straps. Throw them away immediately.

I like that the trampoline doesn't have springs that can break BUT both of the arm bands broke within the first 24 hours. Don't buy it just to get the extra bands. Wouldn't recommend for a friend but I don't regret buying it. Of course I only paid 36 bucks at Walmart. Wouldn't pay a dime more.

I found some great workouts and tips for trampolines online and did them for about a month (I used the trampoline 3-5 times a week) and after that, the material that you jump on started to wear out and stretch out and injuring the sides of my knees.
I've been looking for a warranty (even though my thoughtful Mom purchased this trampoline for me at wal-mart for about $40) or part replacement offering and will keep posted if I find one.

This trampoline is not worth any more than $40.

I use this to exercise on. I don't like pounding the pavement at my age. My ankles, knees and hip joints can't take the hard pounding on the pavement. This trampoline is a great alternative.!

I also purchased this at Walmart for $33 about 3 months ago. I have to admit that I have not looked at the DVD OR used the straps. My main purpose for buying this was to keep my lymphatic system "flushed". (I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) After reading the research that NASA did on keeping the crew of the International Space Station healthy and the fact that a rebounder/trampoline rated #1 for the lymphatic system, I decided to give this a try. It works great! Only 3 minutes a day does the trick. I can actually feel the difference as my "lumps and bumps" reduce in size... especially under the arms. When I have time, I bounce longer than 3 minutes because I enjoy it... it has a certain peace to it and I can zone out for a bit. For my peers (58 yr old female)... a bra is definitely a requirement when doing this... enjoy!
