I came to write a negative review because as many other reviewers here have written, the toy AT FIRST did not work as advertised. It wouldn't stay flat long as a frisbee, and wouldn't take on a fully round shape when it pops into a ball. Until I saw a video that FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOX! Which I didn't do. I figured (like many others here I suspect), "What's to it? Just take it out and play with it." But in order for the toy to work properly, you FIRST HAVE TO RUN IT UNDER HOT WATER FOR 30 SECONDS. Once we did this, the toy worked just as shown in the commercials. My guess is the hot water breaks down the rigid plastic slightly and the more pliable plastic allows the toy to remain in frisbee shape longer then take on a completely round shape when it pops into a ball. Hope this was helpful.

The suction cup in the center of the ball is very, very strong. With that said, the disc rarely turns into a ball when you throw it. You will have to somehow manage to get dirt in there if you want it to loosen up enough to work as advertised.. but that can be difficult because the openings are extremely small. Also, take note of the size. It looks large in the picture but it is actually a very small item in comparison to an actual disc or ball.

We saw a commercial on tv for this toy. My 8yr old went nuts! So as usual I went straight to Amazon. The idea is genius....but the actual function of it is not nearly as great as it shows on the tv commercial. Would not recommend.

We bought this as a gift for a 6 and 10 year old. They have been playing with it non stop for two days. Follow the directions to warm up the ball before use and it works as described. Even if you are just throwing it as a ball or a disk, it is fun!

I like the idea of throwing a frisby and catching it as a ball. I bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. He wanted to try it right away so we did, however, it didn't work correctly. It would always pop back into a ball before you've had a chance to throw it as a frisby. I read the reviews saying that it worked best when the weather is warm. I'm yet to try it out in warmer weather. I hope it works like it's suppose to.

I bought this for my daughter's birthday. She played with it for about 5 minutes before the suction cup inside the ball snapped off. We are able to glue it back on but I was expecting a higher quality product.

first off the ball is hard to get to stay flattened and than it turns to a ball before you can throw it
bought it for my grandson...who is totally disappointed in it ...he was so looking forward to this gift.
