You don't have to Fumble around with your ipod while you drive. This cable gives you the convenience of control of your iPod from your Factory Radio. This one simple cable males the connection to the iPod input found in or on top of the center console. This will allow for a clean installation and eliminates the bulky adapter box found with many universal iPod adapters. This cable is 12" long and features a 30-pin iPod male plug on one end and a Scion oem 16 pin on the other.

I have not tried a 30-pin to lightning adapter yet, and will update the review if that works.
This cable does what it's supposed to do and is much cheaper than the alternative sold by the dealers.
Damaged by cold weather over time. Only lasted about two months in my case. I bought it last January and it was broken by the end of February. Living in a climate with moderately cold winters I found that the cable became very stiff if left in the car overnight. After a couple weeks the connection started cutting out randomly and after about two months it didn't work at all. I would suggest taking this into the house with you over winter nights.
Doesn't charge while connected. Thank Apple for making the circuitry required for that more complicated / expensive than for most other devices.
Despite the cons I bought another one after my first one died (and could buy 6 more for less than the dealer price). I've tried to protect it from the cold and have been using it for nearly a year now.
