The one big issue I had was that first one I received was missing the hardware required to mount it onto the wall, and the box did indicate the hardware was included. I had to return it and reorder it, and luckily the second one came with all of the parts.
Installation is easy. There is a metal bracket that slides out. Line it up, use the bracket as your template, and drill out the holes for the dry wall anchors. Screw it down. Slide the main piece of the bracket onto the wall. Attach the other piece to your kinect and click in.
A couple of notes. I was surprised how small it was. The box I got looks much different than the picture on amazon, but it looks identical, I just imagined it was going to be much larger. Not a con, just wasn't quite what I expected. So the back of the kinect is only a couple of inches away from the wall if that matters to your set up.
The piece that connects to the kinect has a button to release from the kinect, and that snaps into the wall mount, which has a lever to quickly release it from the wall. The mount itself slides off the metal bracket, so you can take the whole mount off if you need to, and only the bracket would still be on the wall.
For ten bucks, you can't go wrong on this. I'm very happy with the purchase, and now we don't have to drag out a night stand to get the kinect at a good height for us.
