This one starts with Ann Kelly.
Kelly is a 49 year old woman who runs a cattle ranch in far North Queensland. A ranch that she's running with one hired hand.
Kelly is also a woman who's six year old daugher was kidnapped two years ago. A daughter who was taken two months after her husband had left her.
Parts of her daughters bloodstained clothes were found and the coroner has finally declared her dead. This is something her Mother just can't accept.
Kelly's other daugher, Margarett, is housed in a facility for the insane. Kelly's life is in the toilet and she wants answers about her missing daughter.
Kelly has called Rod from VIP and requested Ben Hood be sent to find her missing daughter or find out if she's dead.
Rod contacts Ben who's really not interested in the case . Its an investigation and he really doesn't like to do investigations. Ben doesn't like dealing with the police which is something he would surely have to do.
However Ben decides to go to North Queensland and see exactly how much the police have on the case and if its something he can help with.
So begins one great read.
This one has two missing six year old girls, a biker gang, assorted locals who know more than they are telling, Margarette who is no more crazy than Ben is, Margarette who knows more than she's told anyone, April a friend of Margarettes who also knows more than she's told the police, the beautiful police inspector in charge of the case, law enforcement who can only do so much as they have to follow the letter of the law, a Superintendant who want the biker leader in jail, a few bikers who take runs at Ben, dead bikers, bikers in the hospital and Ben Hood who's able to put the pieces together and solve the crime.
Just one super read and well worth those five stars mate.
Another great Ben Hood thriller and now I have to go back to checking Amazon every week for the next installment.
I have read about 6 of the books by this writer and enjoyed all of them.
Ben Hood is a real ladies man, knows how to fight cook has the body to impress and can handle just about any situation.
For me the sex scenes could be a bit more full on, but hay he gets the chicks.
If you like hard hitting action, get this and all the other Ben Hood books.
I can understand why all the women loved Ben so much, no matter how old he gets, he's a total hottie!! LOL! I can't wait for book 14 to come out..... I'll be waiting. I'm so glad I'm on Drew Lindsay 's mailing list.
Congrats to Drew Lindsay, my favorite author.
