Sadly, this movie was bad - really bad.
The conversations were so stiff and silly. Most of the movie was like watching that SNL guy who could only speak in monotone. Literally no emotion or feeling at all.
Also, so many things happen that are completely ridiculous. Believe me, most humans with any brain function would have turned around and run away. Seriously, this isn't your typical dumb kids run into the basement or separate to "cover more ground" - it is average people doing incredibly idiotic things - over and over.
I will say the end was interesting. Sadly, by the time you get to the end, you have pretty much figured out at least close to the big finish.
Winona Ryder definitely gets points for her part in the ending, but not nearly enough to make up for the horrible previous hour or so.
I would only recommend watching this if it's free and I encourage you to fast forward whenever you want. I promise you'll miss very little "storyline" - if that's what you want to call it.
I'm begging everyone - PLEASE MAKE BETTER HORROR MOVIES!!!
