I was actually in a situation recently that I was not comfortable with. Because Stacy's books were fresh in my mind, that gave me more reason and confidence to make the right decision and say no. Although the situation may have turned out ok, it may not have, and I am thankful that I had Stacy's stories in my mind to further encourage my decision.
This series was realistic and very suspenseful, as well as mysterious. It touched on at least three very relevant and big teenage issues. I literally could not put them down. Phenomenal.
There's a HEA but interesting how it gets there.
Recommend this, but be ready for the roller coaster feels.
I would liked to give it 5 stars but, there were plenty grammatical errors, the entire trilogy was a period of about 5 or 6 months, at times dragging things out. Yet when she got home, the time frame runs like a wildfire. I felt the last few chapters were rushed, which disappointed me.
Alyssa is a weak minded moron that has no clue how to do anything but whine.
Chad is an impotent, sorry excuse for a man that cannot even handle a solo trip to the grocery store hides in his computer and from life, Alex is an overgrown toddler that somehow knocked up his bitchy, petulant little girlfriend .......it was agony !!!!!
Throw in the pathetic little doormat Lydia.
And then we have the comical, oft repeated chase scenes between Chester and Macy......a small child could have escaped easier and quicker.
And how many times did Alex say whatever ???????
