From the Back Cover
The essence of this spirituality has been preserved for thousands of years in the Bible, a collection of writings that has admittedly been quoted, misquoted, and used by many to legitimize and promote causes and agendas that actually have little to do with what is really in the Scriptures...
So begins this concise book, which concisely presents essentials of what is actually found in the Bible, vital truths that cut across the false boundaries of creed, culture, and time. More than anything else, it is a guide to the Bible itself, providing insights that are completely relevant today.

The purpose of this book was not to cover every jot and tittle of the doctrines that Christians may differ on but to focus on the essentials of Christianity. Mr. Sikes has done this well. This volume is ideal for folks who simply want to know more about Christianity, are yearning for something in this life, are disillusioned, or who want to put some handles on the faith that may already be stirred in the heart. Though not written with the intent of serving as a devotional, its Scripture-rich content make this book a sweet read for folks who are already Christians.
