He is currently the owner of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, MLS's Atlanta United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, PGA TOUR Superstore, Mountain Sky, West Creek and Paradise Valley Ranches, and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. A successful businessman, community leader, and philanthropist, Blank lives in Georgia with his family.

Danny Campbell is a television and film actor and an AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator.

Jimmy Carter, former president of the United States, is the recipient of the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize, New York Times bestselling author, and founder of the nonprofit Carter Center.

Perhaps best known as co-founder of The Home Depot, Arthur Blank is now widely recognized for his diverse businesses. He has been distinguished by Forbes as one of the World’s 100 Greatest Living Business Minds 2017, Sports Business Journal’s Executive of the Year 2018 and Sports Business Journal’s one of the 50 Most Influential People in Sports 2016, 2017, and 2018.

In addition to the Blank Family Foundation, Blank’s Family of Businesses includes the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United; the nationwide PGA TOUR Superstore; three ranches in Montana, Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, West Creek Ranch and Paradise Valley Ranch; and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which hosted the 2019 Super Bowl and is home to the Falcons and Atlanta United.

Blank believes in the importance of making a difference – professionally and personally. Skip this book. Unless you are a hardcore Arthur Blank, Home Depot, or Atlanta Falcons fan, do not read this book: It will provide you minimal value, and has lots off ineffectual filler pages, cliche chapters with themes you have heard elsewhere before: caring about people, listening to people, "walking in their shoes," etc etc. As a substitute - I highly recommend Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, Co-founder of Nike (entertaining read full of great knowledge, very well written, unlike this book).

The two most impactful persons reads of 2020 were written by two Atlanta-based giants of men, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Arthur Blank, who beautifully articulates how he has learned the benefit of putting individuals and their needs ahead of the selfish tendencies so common among all of us. Mr. Blank’s words resonated with me and serve as a palpable application of the teaching of Dr. King that I grew to appreciate earlier this year; I felt amazed and inspired to do better and be better as a young professional. Anyone can and will benefit by reading this book by Arthur Blank, and I’m glad I didn’t make the mistake of waiting too long to read it. This book is truly for everyone, and it has helped me shape who I want to be both professionally and personally—a servant who loves, gives back, and makes it easier for the next person, above all.

I saw an interview with Arthur Blank on a news show (thinking 60 Minutes) and this book was mentioned. Great insights into the mind of the author and an interesting history on Home Depot and his other ownership interests. He does address hard decisions and personnel issues that he has encountered through the years. Not all roses, for sure. Overall, a good read and one that may even give you a few good ideas to put into practice (or affirms those good practices that you already do).

He and I watched Documentary of the building of the Mercedes Benz Stadium one night & were so impressed by Mr. Blanks genuine concern over the residents living in the Vine community & those he gave jobs to during the construction etc. When my grandson heard about this book, he put it on his Christmas wish list. I know he will enjoy it very much.

Enjoyed Mr. Blank’s second book. I did not read the first book which I presume told the start of Home Depot. However this book does refer to the early challenges of HD and goes about meeting the challenges of buying & rebuilding the Falcons football team & the Atlanta soccer team. He applied similar approaches & strategies.
