Format: Mass Market Paperback
I read this book several years ago, then set it aside. Last week I read "Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution" which is an excellent,authoritative book on health and contains much information about fats and how they are utilized and mobilized. Then I proceeded to reread this book, checked the index, and noticed that "insulin" was not even listed. That was the first clue that the book was lacking in content, when discussing fat and health. I then continued to read a couple of chapters, and noted that the author of this book has numerous statements about fat that are at odds with the Atkins book. They both can't be right on some issues, either he is or she is. I'll trust Atkins 40+ years of medical and clinical experience. Go read Atkins' book, not this one.
