Dean Gualco continues to share his management and life-philosophy in this latest book, "The Good Manager". Dean has a very positive outlook on life and he believes that looking for the good in people is a key element of good management. Anyone can criticize. Most of us have seen how "constructive criticism" has taken the wind out of people's sails and the glint out of a young person's eyes. Based on his similar experience, Dean Gualco proposes that managers emphasize the good in people and encourage improving performance - for the betterment of the organization and the personal and professional growth of the individual. Add "The Good Manager" to your library and to your coaching repertoire.

A reset to what is important. Dr Gualco recommends a return to principled management. Business people in general have a higher obligation to society than simply maximizing shareholder wealth. An appropriate read for today's knowledge based economy
