Great historical photos make this a good read for anyone and it is a source of the development of farming/raching practices from the earliest days to the modern tractor and combines.
The authors family is traced from their origins in Europe and Eastern North America to their arrival in North Idaho. The impact of both World Wars on the town is covered and how the young people developed careers away from their hometown is shown in several examples. The reviewers said that the book is a nostalgic read and it took them back to their youth in such a small community. You will like this one.
