Hossain , the Protagonist of the story, is a physician who tactfully designs a medical scheme to deceive the Islamic Regime which would enable him to get an exit permit and miraculously succeeds to leave Iran when no one is allowed to leave the country .
The language is smooth and narrator brings us important cultural and historical insights about Iran and the life in Iran after revolution and during the war with Iraq.
The story amplifies in the second half of the book with many heart-beating events in addition to a love story, which makes the book a good candidate for a movie.
