Our socks are produced on the most modern equipment in the world, giving us access to every conceivable feature that can be incorporated in a sock. Spandex Throughout- All Goodhew socks are manufactured with Spandex throughout the entire sock. One of our complaints about so many socks is "bagging out" of the sock as the day goes along. Spandex used throughout the entire sock ensures a snug fit all day long and helps prevent slipping in the shoe. We are not aware of any other brand that uses spandex throughout the sock in every sock they make. Turn Welt Top- A turn welt top is a feature whereby the top of the sock is tucked down inside the sock. The benefits of a turn welt are extra elastic in the top of the sock to help keep the sock up and a clean, finished appearance to the top of the sock. Flat Toe Seams- There is probably no greater item that can cause discomfort in a sock than a bulky toe seam. We use specially developed flat toe seams in all of our socks to ensure that you don't even notice they are there.
Top Customer Reviews
These are comfortable, cute, and a decent product for the money (I paid$15 with free shipping). I will be buying more from this seller as they have socks to match my whimsical floral or block patterns and some serious refined socks for work-wear. For all these reasons I am giving these socks (and the goodhew brand) a rating of 5 stars for value, comfort, durability, fashionable style, and attractiveness, even though they do leave indentations on my shin from the band. However I find that the indentiation is less intense than it is with cheaper socks. It probably has something to do with the superior construction of the band.
BTW: Pay attenton to the sizing chart from the goodhew website! I was initially going to order a small/medium but after seeing that range as being for shoe sizes 4-7.5 I wisely upped my size to medium large.
