These are great pants for $30 can’t beat that in my opinion. Very comfortable but the waist size seems a little bigger than normal. I’m 5’10, 180 lbs, typically wear 31” waist and probably could have sizes down to a 30”. Not a deal breaker but wanted to mention for those of you deciding to purchase!

Honestly, I didn't want to like these. I've been a bit of a clothing snob (small, boutique brands... vintage... RRL.. that kind of stuff) and when I realized Goodthreads was an Amazon brand, I was more than suspicious -especially given the price. But, as a shorter guy (5' 6"), I was amazed to find my inseam among the available sizes. There has NEVER been a pair of pants I've purchased retail that didn't require a stop at the tailor to hem before I could wear them (adding $12-$20 to any pants I've bought.) Also, some pants patterns just aren't designed to have 4-6" of leg lopped off the bottom. But, like I said... I was suspicious. Buying basics from Amazon kinda feels like buying clothes from Costco or something, and I've historically had too much pride/vanity for that. But, the return policy, wardrobe box, and crazy price made trying these a "nothing to lose" proposition. And, when I got them, they couldn't be denied. My waist measures 30"-30.5" and the 29" size fit the way I like -slim. This is also the first pair of pants I've had with any kind of stretch to them, and to that I'm also a convert. My daily activities include lots of movement (bending, crouching, etc.) and the stretch makes a big difference. The other thing I like about this cut is the pocket bags are on the outside (like vintage Vietnam war-era military pants) so, especially in the summer... you don't have a bunch of extra hanging pocket bag material inside your waistband, crowding in around your junk. The photo is after a few washes, and there is only the tiniest bit of length-wise shrinkage. For example, I'm normally a 27.5" inseam, but this 28" size sits just how I like -not too much of a "break", but not too flood-looking either. So yeah... I ordered 3 pair for work along with some Goodthread t-shirts that I also begrudgingly added to my stash of daily "uniforms". I mean... I don't see how this business model can be good for the world, but crap... I guess sometimes you gotta make life easy for yourself and order $30 pants (free shipping) that fit great. ‾\_(ツ)_/‾

Stitching problem near button on 1st pair. White stain on 2nd pair.

Some stitching near button above zipper was damaged on black pants purchased. Strange white stain near knee on grey pants purchased. I tried to exchange but website would not allow it. I did not want money back since work allowance required me to purchase by the end of the year and I didn't receive until 2022. So I kept them rather than end up with nothing. Also the size I really needed has not been available when I checked back many times.

I just ordered my 4th pair. They are not the most durable pants, I have worn through a pair in two years. But they are super comfy and good for hiking. They run large in the waist. I usually order a 32x32 but get 31x32 in these pants.

I did not want to like Amazon pants, but these are too good.

Hello Amazon,

This is a message to you vice an actual review. I love these pants and, in particular, I love the material they are made out of. The stretch canvas is comfortable and hits a nice casual vibe that I like. The reason that I am writing is that I would love to see this material made into a "5 pocket" jean or a chino. If you made them I would buy one of each...maybe more.

I didn't know where else to write this so I'm writing it here, hoping someone at amazon will actually read it.

Great pants!

I'm 51 years old and I have finally found pants that fit perfectly. The material is soft and durable and the deep pockets are great. I've purchased 4 pair so far and I'll probably purchase every color. They're tough enough for working on the farm yet dressy enough for church. I'm 5ft. 6" 170 lbs and 32/30 fit's perfectly.

if I could give them 6 stars I would, brilliant being able to get waist and inside leg in 1" increments - ( 36 to big 34 to tight short leg usually 29" just a fraction to long ! you know how it goes ),stretch material feels nice and smooth, really comfortable to wear , pockets I like , hopefully the stitching and zip will hold up. just ordered 3 more pairs, (happy now ! )

the material of these is really nice, as is the build quality and finish, but, boy are they tight in the lower leg. i could barely move my legs with these on, they are so tight. they look more like jodhpurs. i looked like i'd lost my horse! skinny jeans would be a better sales point i think.

This are quite a loose fit, not quite sure why they are made in stretch fabric. I would probaly go down a size if I bought another pair. Nice trousers though. I bought a 34 waist and I'm a big old unit.

These trousers fit perfectly. Goodthreads do all the sizes in between the sizes you get in a shop. This means it’s always a compromise. Not so with these. Look great. Thanks.
