I have been using this product for as long as I can remember. Ace has always had the best product. They used to advertise it as unbreakable, but I carry mine in my back pocket and they do break after a while. They are also not as bendable as some of the cheaper brands, however they are the best made. The teeth stay straight and the ends of the teeth are rounded or polished so they don't scratch your scalp when you comb your hair. Others that I have tried always tend to scratch my scalp and in some cases have cause bleeding. Never with an Ace comb.

I've been searching for classic Ace unbreakable hard rubber combs in my area for some time. Haven't been able to find any. Turned to Amazon, did a search on "unbreakable rubber comb", and there they were! Ordered the six pack of men's fine tooth pocket combs right away. Couldn't wait for them to be delivered and be able to throw out the latest junk plastic one that is only a few weeks old but already missing the ends and multiple teeth.

The combs came and I opened up one to put it in my pocket right away. Big disappointment. They are plastic junk from China. Not worth the cost of sending them back. Just will have to use them up the same as the other junk ones bought locally.

My fault for just assuming an ACE comb was still the original design material. A quick online search told me all I should have been aware of. It would have made me pass on the purchase.

I love them for several reasons

These are hard to find in stores so I went to Amazon and voila. I love them for several reasons. First of all all the teeth are fine comb spaced rather than the traditional fine and course spaced. Secondly the "teeth" are not sharp like many other combs so you don't scratch your scalp (OUCH). Finally, they are made of hard rubber not plastic and will stand up over time not loosing teeth or breaking if you keep the comb in your back pocket. These combs are the best, at least for men.

Have been using Ace fine tooth combs for the past 50 years or more. Ace claims they are unbreakable, but in reality they typically only last 6 to 12 months before teeth start breaking or completely snap in half when sat on in my back pocket. They are very hard to find in brick & mortar stores so I have to turn to Amazon.
Amazon sent the wrong product as you can see from the photo, not worth my time to send them back, so will pass them on to my daughter and/or grand daughters. As a bonus, the clips sell for $10 each and I only paid $12 for all six so it was a good bargain. Makes up for some of the other products that don't meet expectations and I don't bother to send back.

I have been using a Ace fine pocket comb for at least 30 years (79YO) and it is now missing a few teeth. I ordered a couple of these to have a few for the future as I throw the old comb into my travel bag and I thought it wouldn't be around forever like me. Well the old comb glides threw my hair and over my scalp smoothly and comfortably, but the "new" Aces feel like a minature lawn rake on my scalp. They are not even worth the $2.46ea. I purchased these for. The trash man well get these next week. Off-shored to China.. Where or where did the hard rubber combs go?

Just what was expected. I always seem to be misplacing combs. I leave them in a pocket and somewhere through the laundry the go away. So I picked up the six pack and should be set for a while. They are rigid enough to work well while they seem to be quire durable. I haven't purposely tried to break one but they have held up to basic daily use sitting in the back pocket of my jeans.
