If you are interested in Goofus Glass, this book is a good reference point. It was written in 1984, so does have a little age on it. But, it is really one of the very few books written on Goofus Glass. The introduction gives a brief rundown of the history of this glass. I wish the introduction had more information, but you can supplement what is presented with Internet researching. The author did a great job with the pictures and short descriptions of the different jars/plates/bowls/lamps that were produced. It makes the collection more fun when you can identify what you have with the pictures in the book. A very few minor errors/mixups in the descriptions under the pictures, but this can be expected, and does not detract from the importance of this book being a great reference guide.

Great photos....though the prices are no longer relevant....some peices go for more than the author lists and some for less. Also, beware experimenting with painting your glassware as the author does if you want it to retain its collectability. All in all, a good book and a fun reference to have when cruising ebay for good goofus glass buys!!!

This small book is filled with photos of Ms. McKinley's goofus glass pieces. She provides some pricing guidelines, but those may not be relevant in 2002. An excellent resource book for collectors, especially anyone interested in learning to identify goofus glass.

This book is old, but I loved it. It has beautiful pictures in it. My grandmother had an old lamp in this glassware, and I remember it from my childhood. I found a picture of it in this book. It brought back a lot of memories. The rest of the book is great, too. Lots information and beautiful pictures. I think the book is no longer in print, so I was lucky to find a used copy on Amazon.
