Jason Matthews is not an idiot who doesn't know any better than to sell a hard cover book on e-marketing and SEO. (And this makes me wonder whether Chris has ever seen the book because is, in fact, a soft back book.) Some people, myself included, like to have a physical copy of a book in addition to an e-version of it. I find it difficult to write in the margins of my eBook or to dog ear pages or highlight passages to which I want to return. Now, I realize there are e-ways to do all these things but for me it just is not the same. So ... I would like a 010101 version and a paper copy.
This book is not for the person who earned a degree in SEO marketing. It is not a textbook. It is a self-help for the novice and intermediate DIY (do-it-yourself) reader. And as such a reader, I found it concise, straightforward, well-written, easy to read and easy to put into practice.
I don't think I could ask for more from a $10 book of ~120 pages. Asking for advice from a pro on even one of the subjects in this book could cost 10-20 times that.
Well, done Jason. I am well pleased.
There are easy to follow, step by step instructions. Might I add that not many authors offer to help you after you'd bought their book. Jason Matthews reaches out to his fans and even invites questions or comments.
I'm sure that I will have to read this book at least once more to gain everything there is to know. Also for those that don't know anything about SEO this will be a huge help. There are new terms to learn, and new habits to form and Mr. Matthews goes into every topic with such helpful detail that you are sure to take something away from every chapter of this book.
I so enjoyed the chapter on Social Media because that hits home for me I live on facebook. We authors need to learn there is more to the internet than keeping up with our family and friends. We need every tool we can to be prosperous.
If you're an author and you want to make your presence known on google, this is the book for you. The steps are broken down into great detail and Mr. Mathews has a pdf version too, and it's very helpful for using his step by step instructions.

and how to use such things as search engines to best advantage and other mysteries such as SEO and what it means and why its important and if you are interested in fine tuning your SEO this may well be the book for you especially if you want to do these things yourself without spending a lot of money.
Other things such as Keywords research, the importance of quality content, the power of blogs, optimising page titles, URL submissions and to where and why and the howto of using Google webmaster tools are covered in a language easy to understand. Metadata and sitemap addition and adding HTML code to your site are there too if you want to dabble deeper.

THE TABLE OF CONTENTS so suggest you go there to find specific topic of interest - there's a lot there and its pretty comprehensive and URL redirects are there a plenty too to expand your exploration if you wish to do so.
A well written and a well thought out book covering a thorny subject that should be considered a reference for those who need to learn some skills in Search Engine Optimisation
