Now I have to start completely over.
If you're reading this... Run.
Things I realized DAY ONE within 30 minutes of unboxing:
Really heavy - Have to rest my wrist on things when i type or use phone just to alleviate wrist pain.
Front camera sucks - blurry , looks like a 2008 phone. Literally. Thousands are saying the same. Look it up. Updated the camera update. It switched to super grainy and dark. Instead of blurry. How a developer could miss the most important thing on the age of social media and selfies. I have no clue.
Phone overheats - unboxed and simply browsed internet trying out my new phone and my phone got so hot. Now I'm concerned about longevity and stability. E I passed it to someone and they literally said "Uhhh why is it so hot" without me mentioning it.
Phone did not come with headphones and charger like the 3 did. Just a phone cord with no wall box. Which i can get over. But still....why? Why not a whole charger at least? Weird.
When you plug it in , you have to do a western showdown with the phone because it literally takes 5 seconds to indicate that it's charging. So you can't just plug it in and walk away. You have to sit there, stare at your phone for 5 to 7 seconds, wait for the charger sign to come up, to make sure it's actually charging before walking off. I tried with different combinations of chargers and boxes including the old pixel charger and the cord it came with. So if you want to spend a lot of time trying to figure out Is my phone charging , is my charger even working, OH there it goes. Every single time you plug it in. Get this phone.
Let's say you change the color scheme , the phone will decide you no longer want that color and just change it to something else. Literally. It's very random. If it even lets you change it at all, you can click on a color and the phone will just do nothing lol.
.........................
Things I noticed after having it for almost 2 weeks.
Snapchat quality is terrible. It fills every stereotype and joke about of what an Android snap looks like. Super low quality.
Bottom speaker sucks in comparison the front facing like on the 3. It's a huge difference in audio quality and volume. It's simply harder to hear when the speaker is pointed down and not AT you like it previously was. This is like wearing headphones on your shoulders instead of ears. Does not make sense.
Phone doesn't always respond when you touch screen.
Gps glitches sometimes and you have to exit and re enter to get the time left on route to pop up.
My wrists hurt so bad. I'm always stretching them out.
Back screen gesture will change pages on accident A Lot. I read a review before I bought it that said the same and thought that person just wasn't careful or didn't know what they were doing. I should've listen. i changed setting to fix it to a home row and sometimes that doesn't even show up, even with the up gesture... glitch
Sometimes it refuses to connect with Bluetooth. Others have mentioned that as well
It does the slow typing glitch. Especially when it gets hot.
Phone gets hot especially from video calling. Like again, a common function such as video calling in the world we now live in should not be burning up a brand new phone.
Sometimes it takes a couple of seconds for a call to pop up, instead of popping up immediately.
Did I mention the 30% reset that just jumps your phone to wherever it desires and erases anything you were writing ? Honestly the Pixel 3 did that too and I was hoping it would be fixed on the 6. No. The phone will lose whatever you are looking at or writing when it hits 30% . Hope it wasn't important or interesting because you'll never see it again.
Overall the phone is just glitchy, slow, hot , and unresponsive with an outdated front camera.
The Back camera is amazing. I love the phone assistant still that gives the option to tell more before I answer. My favorite feature about my 3 that the 6 kept. Other than that, I'm just not seeing an improvement.
Last note: I Never got the promised December update like most 6 users still have not. And I won't be waiting for it. Sending the phone back.

Note: Am not into gaming so my usage on average daily includes mails, WhatsApp, Maps, basic music/video streaming on and off, and few photographs (unless am on vacation where I click a lot!)
1. The software is as clean as it could be ofcourse.
2. Got upgraded to Android 13 in hardly 20 days of purchase.
3. Camera is THE best. Some of the effects like motion photo, magic eraser, cinematic photo and creations are absolutely rich and above the best in market. Above iphones I will say.
4. Being Google phone, getting lot of security updates and bug fixes. So even if there are issues be assured it will be fixed soon.
5. I moved over from OnePlus series, so certainly missing the fast charging option. I use a 'Dr. Vaku' charger supporting multi watt charging. Charging is not great and certainly takes an hour for full charge or even more.
6. Battery discharge appears bit fast so little disappointed on that front.
7. Loads of gimmicks and features loaded. My favourite is taking screenshot on tapping phones back . Choose your favourite.
8. Lots of customisations available like wallpaper/theme based app skin color, widgets etc.
9. The phone does heat up at times on long usage of app like Maps, Camera, video streaming. The mention of long here varies App to App. It does cool down easily but it does feel annoyingly warm.
10. Haptic touch, screen resolution etc are great even in normal sunlight.
11. Purchased it from 'world bazaar' seller. Received nice seal packed phone. On cheking IMEI online, seems mine is China product. The one you may get could be Japan, USA anyone depending on stock of your seller.
12. There is no warranty in India as the phone is not officially sold here but I purchased with some calculated risk hoping nothing can go wrong in an year time with Pixel.
13. Dual sim possible. One Sim has to be made e-sim. In India only Airtel and Jio offer esim at this point and for that you will need to have a postpaid account SIM. Do note.
14. Brightness in broad daylight is fine.
15. Sound and phone volume is not loud. It could have been better.
Note: Some of these issues could be common in other primium phones like S21FE, Oneplus10 for e.g and have seen similar reviews online.
As I mentioned in caption, buy it only if you love pixel phone. The phone is not error free but some of the benefits overshadow the cons and hence I went ahead.
Make your calculated choice !

Coming to the phone itself, after using Pixel 2 XL, I just could not like any other Android phone. I tried the Samsung flagships, Oneplus and none came close to the features that I liked and wanted from Pixel series.
This phone is a complete feature rich phone. Has 90Hz AMOLED display, surprisingly great sounding dual speakers, great chipset and storage, absolutely mind blowing cameras, best haptics, fast charging.
The cameras are great, though a little extra bright at some points, but that might just be due to the large sensor size. The Sorta Seafoam colour is exactly as I had expected, bright but still subtle.
I love the OS and it was one of the main reasons why I wanted a Pixel phone. Clean, stock, slick Android 12. The phone WILL feel a lot heavier if you are coming from older metallic/plastic phones. The weight is similar to recent glass sandwich phones.
All around, I would say, a great phone. The accessories choices are definitely limited in India though, but apart from that, I recommend it around 55-60k.
