The book is designed to be an active workbook so the reader/researcher can refer to it on a regular basis. There is room for notes, and suggestions, and instructions with real-world examples. There are screen shots to visually support the text. "Google It" draws your attention to try the technique being described.
Web addresses and top free websites for genealogy research are given. It also explains Google text translator for those researching in different countries in their ancestors homeland. There are Appendix A--E at the back with special helping suggestions. Vintage photos add charm to the book. There is an index to help the reader/researcher locate information. A must have for all families digging into their past.
It's a great book to add to anyone's library that has an interest in family history and genealogy.
Easy to read. Full of ideas.

Somewhat disappointing - it does have some basic information, however, it is not worth the price and time to read.Published 16 months ago by Dennis Hausman
