That being said. The quad does fit down in nicely, and I have everything I'll take with me in it. One review mentioned blade guards, they have to be removed. This case will fit the X5SW long landing gear but not the blade guards, another brand will fit the blade guards but not the legs.
So, in the end, Will I keep it? Yes Unless I decide to make one out of raw materials
Do I like it? Yes and No, not at nearly $30, for that price I should get 2. That's roughly the quality against the cost, but right now I don't see any other options for the X5SW outside of keeping it in the cardboard it came in, not an option for me
I bought this case rather than a lot of the other cases for syma drones out there because I know the landing gears on the newer ones are shaped differently than the older models. I bought this particular case because it was the only one to specify that it works for an x5sw and I would have hated to buy my dad a case and then discover it didn't fit.
I'm unsure of how long the zipper on the case will hold up as it looks sort of flimsy, but so far it has held up fine.
My dad seems to like the case and he put his drone in it right away after he opened it. Overall, not a bad choice if you're looking for something lightweight to provide a little padding and give you something to carry your drone in.
