Mine worked fine... It has 3 modes and 3 pulse widths for digital and analog servos. Set it correctly before you plug in the servo. BTW you'll need to power it. So if you don't have one, you'll need to pick one up - like http://www.amazon.com/Venom-4-Cell-AA-Battery-Box/dp/B0081GGOX2/

Works well. It's nice to be able to automatically dial in 1500 or to also sweep the spectrum with hands off. Useful tool to also test engine efficiency. Only criticism would be that it would be nice to have the +- indicators more intuitively laid out on the device (like on the side).

It functions, but can be quirky sometimes. I only use it to set up the servo centers when doing linkages and so far it's been ok. I may get a better quality servo tester at a later date, but for the money it's certainly adequate.

The servo tester is useful to center a servo, manually move the servo arm and automatically cycle the servo the full amount of travel. it is useful for building RC airplanes without having to hook up the receiver and transmitter to center servos.

Tried to find something like this at my local hobby shops, but they didn't carry anything. They just said to use a regular full servo/controller setup to test your motors. Well I knew there had to be something out there and this worked perfect! And the fact that it shows the applied mV is great to know exactly how the motor is performing at a given input. The control knob rotates smoothly and works great.

Works great for the price. I just wished it had a fuse or protection against receiving the wrong voltage. In testing circuits, it's easy to get confused and get carried away thinking everything operates with the same voltage. I learned it the hard way. Twice! - Totally my mistake, be careful and pay close attention to the voltage you are using to power it!

Works better than the one it's replacing but I found the pot to be over sensitive when trying to set the pulse parameter. I added an external voltage regulator which should have been internal to make it more universal. Now I can put any battery on it as long as it has the right connector.
