This Qi wireless charging hotspot is very small, with a diameter of just 58.4mm and height of just 11mm, it comes with a 30cm cable ending in a standard USB A plug. The size is ideal for fitting onto the cable ports on many office desks and the cable can exit either the side or bottom of the charge pad depending on how it is mounted.
The hotspot can be powered from a USB AC adaptor (not included) or from your PC or even from your laptop - making it ideal for charging your phone when travelling.

It doesn't charge like a cable but it will actually charge the phone while doing navigation with the screen and wifi on. I bought for a diy project and it seems to be great for that.
My only complaint is the beep. it isn't extremely loud so it isn't too bad. it seems to have some sort of delay to keep it from beeping if you move your phone for just a second which is nice. I'm probably going to remove the beeper when i pull it apart. I'm ordering a couple more right now to use at my office and home desk.
Doesn't seem to have any heat issues like other chargers.
UPDATE: this is very light and has a foam rather than rubberized bottom so it tends to slide off of my nightstand. easy fix but can be an annoyance until you fix it. Also, i bought a case that turned out to be really thick plastic and the charger still works. the beep is actually welcome now because its less forgiving on placement with the case. once it beeps you know it is charging.
First you notice just how small the "sweet spot" is. You only have about a 1" radius on the phone and the charging pad. When on the sweet spot, but phones are precariously balanced.
The charger also does not fully charge either phone but stops somewhere between 50% and 75% of full charge.
The most annoying thing is the beeper. When the charger does decide it has charged enough, bit beeps incessantly until you remove the phone. I was able to pop the charger apart with a tiny screwdriver (you will see the slot on the bottom) and crush the beeper with some needle nose pliers.
Summary is that I now have 2 of these chargers and still do not have satisfactory wireless charging. We are both using USB chargers.
Both see the phone and tablet charge well, right through their protective cases. The puck looks on the small side, but it's been no trouble balancing the phone or tablet on the puck and lining them up to charge properly.
The charger also came with an extension cable, in case (as with us) the USB wall wart is a little farther than 6" from where you want to put the charging puck.
The unit itself is as pictured, a gloss black, and should look fairly unobtrusive with many decors.
Cut your cords & GO WIRELESS!
I have no trouble positioning my phone for charging. I try to center the phone over the charging unit, but I've never had any trouble getting it positioned for charging. It helps that there is an audible beep when the phone is placed on the charger.
