The Mask Mutant is real in the two part episode Attack of the Mutant that originally aired back in 1996. Skipper Matthews is a comic nerd, who starts to realize that his favorite comic supervillain is real!

In the Phantom Mask (1995) Brooke gets the lead in the the school play, but there is a phantom that haunts the school auditorium.

These are two great additions to add to your Goosebumps DVD Collection. I only wish that there will be complete seasons or a complete series released, but until then I will continue to collect each DVD release.

Damn man i remember beong a kid and loving the Goosebumps books and the show. I have alot of the books and ive got a good bit of the videos, but when i saw this one it reminds me of when i saw this on digital cable when i was like 17 and was on some mushrooms and remembered this was on in the room so i kinda felt as if i was going through the lair of the mutant. The colors are really cool so i could see how kids being introduced to it how it will catch their eye. I figure eventually one day when i have kids i can show them these and say that this is what i used to watch as a kid. I don't know it's nostalgia to me so i figured why not drop 6 bux for it. Took me back. I dug it,if you remember the show or have kids and want to show em what you watched when you were little this is the series.

Just in time for Halloween, Scholastic and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment released two Goosebumps onto DVD September 13, 2011. I have been a fan of Goosebumps ever since my daughters were little and that was over 10 year ago. Although they didn't have any DVDs back then, they did have a ton of Goosebumps books and a few videos. Now I have my son who is in a completely new generation and he also loves to watch the Goosebumps episodes. So my son and I got cozy on the couch and had some mom and son time and got to watch both GHOST BEACH and ATTACK OF THE MUTANT DVDs. Although he had seen a couple of the episodes before, there were a couple he hadn't and we had a great time watching them together. What I like best about the Goosebumps series is how they are scary but there is no gore involved, just enough of a thrill for the preteen who doesn't get to watch those adult scary films, yet still wants in on a little scary fun. My favorite episode is "Be Careful What You Wish For," from the Ghost Beach DVD. This is an episode which any school aged girl can relate to, as Samantha tries to improve her self-esteem at school by allowing a strange creepy lady to grant her some wishes. When Samantha does not word her wishes carefully she ends up regretting she ever wished at all. My son and I both gave these DVDs 5 stars for Fun, Fantastic, Frightening, Fabulous, Fright-Fest.

A Kid's Review on July 6, 2012
I like this product just because it came within 5 days time. That's all you need to know to survive the attack of the frolicking mutant who can't even drive a bus. The End

I watched this along with my 8.5 yo son and 4.5 yo daughter. It was scary, but not over the top. It's a bit dated, but that's also what makes it a little innocent. We all really liked it!
