I just had new tires installed, first time lugs were removed/installed, and the tire dealer said the removal tool got stuck on several lug nuts and had to be pounded on to work on some and was installed without using pneumatic/air tools only hand tools.
The chrome is already scuffed and splines possibly stripped so I'll be contacting the company for replacement or refund.
The older style I had of this product that this replaced had tool splines that reached to the tops of the lug nuts allowing the tool plenty of grip. As you can see the new style only has a short area for the tool to work. The removal tool is also a lot smaller/shorter and seemingly lesser quality than the older style.
I still like the look and when I installed originally took extra precautions and time to not scuff the chrome as it being an issue on previous reviews. Further review will depend on the company response to my claims for warranty.
