Stays put and doesn't slip!

After having used the mat for a little more than 1 month, I can say it works quite well and doesn't move around in the tub. Once you lay it down, you must walk on it carefully at first until you compress all the suction cups down, since it WILL move slightly at first. You only need to do that once each time you remove/replace it on the tub surface. It's rather hard to pull it up when you want to clean the tub, the suckers REALLY are attached well! Even when covered with shampoo or soap etc, your feet have a good, soft traction surface that doesn't slip and slide on you. Great, inexpensive, and safe to use.

I'm guessing approx. 2 yrs. ago I purchased this mat and it's still in my bathtub !!! It was a few dollars more than I normally spent on one, but so well worth it and honestly, it 's the best bath mat I've ever owned ! The mat still sticks great and I think it's going to still be in great shape for a few more years. Can't believe it, but it's really that good and I was not impressed when I opened it, in a roll. I know it isn't recommended for tiled showers, but I use it my tiled shower and it works great. Every single suction cup might not be attached to the floor of the shower, but there are a lot of them and the majority hold well. The mat hasn't slipped at all and when I step into the shower, I no longer have to worry about slipping - mission accomplished! I don't know about cleaning yet, as I've only had it a short time. I do plan to toss it in the washer periodically with towels based on other recommendations. I wanted clear and realize it might get dingy over time, but if I have to replace periodically, I'm ok with that. I would definitely order it again. I also like another reviewer's idea of getting a small one to put over plastic items in the top rack of my dishwasher!

I was in the process of changing the bath and shower mats of both my bathrooms, I was getting sick and tired of the ones I have used for years because they just don't totally stick to the floor and I'm always having to adjust and step all over them to hopefully make them stick but they always slowly start sliding. They finally stick, but they slowly start sliding out of place. So who could resist these? The name alone depicted what I was looking for. But it's the same darn story, they move around. It's not a dangerous slip and slide thing when you step on them like some others that are scary, I'm old and I don't want to fall and I've had some scares with other ones, these aren't at a scary level but the "gorilla grip" theme is overrated in my opinion. I know that it says that it is only for smooth non-tiled surfaces but who doesn't have a modern tiled shower? I must say that they do work a lot better on my tub which is not tiled, the problem is with my tiled shower. So, whatever...

I have a handicapped elderly man in my home that i have continually tried to find a way to keep him from slipping in the tub. I’ve tried stuck on decals, spray on stuff, and every matt known to man. None of them worked until this one. I have to admit i was sceptical but apparently all those little suction cups really do the trick. After years of buying shower mats for an all fiberglass shower this is the first one that so far no movement. Other mats constantly needed to be straightened out. After 6 showers I’m sold, no more worrying about slipping and falling thru glass doors.
Follow instructions wash in washing machine when you first get it and do not put in dryer.

I love being able to see if anything is stuck under it (I have very long hair and it was always getting stuck under my old mat), so far nothing has! A very miracle! I attach it to the wall when not using it and it stays there securely. This is a serious upgrade from the drugstore mat I’ve always used and I can’t imagine ever going back. This is really a great product!
