These do a good job of keeping the litter from scattering all over the floor plus they come in a wide variety of colors to go with your decor. They are easy to clean, all you have to do is vacuum then rinse them if necessary. However, I recommend if you vacuum these to use the floor setting floor setting instead of the carpet because the carpet brush can tear them up. Other than that they are very durable and I have replaced the honeycomb mats that save the litter for these. Highly recommend

This mat traps litter very well, which is the point, but the litter goes down into the tangles and will not come out with the vacuum. Litter is released if you shake the mat. I don't want to do that inside and we live in a climate where going outside to shake out a litter mat is inconvenient for 4 months of the year. I would suggest getting a color that hides the litter because I got the lighter cream color and you can really see the gray litter imbedded in it. It is soft and easy on the cat's paws. This would be good in an area that is not seen much and you can wait to take it outside to shake it out. I have decided I prefer an inexpensive area rug that I can vacuum to this litter trapping mat.

I purchases 2 of these for my five cats and two of the three litter boxes. They stay in place nicely and keep the boxes from sliding around. They are big enough to catch what my crazy digger throws out of the box on a daily basis. I do not own a vacuum cleaner so vacuuming the mat is not an option. I have to take it outside and vigorously shake it out. Sometimes my 19 year old cat pees on the litter that was kicked onto the mat, and then it needs to be scrubbed to get the smell out. The mat takes overnight to air dry, unless it's laid out in the sun.
Conclusion: pros outweigh the cons and I'd buy again.

I have 3 cats and mane coon... 4 roll and dump litter boxes and a litter robot (don't recommend). In other words.... I have a lot of litter! These work great! The only thing is if you vacuum them they will eventually fall apart. Took mine 3 years to fall apart but they will. In an ideal world you would have to take them out and shake them but when it is below zero I'm not doing that! So I just replace them after tearing then up from vacuuming them!
