I don't know what the other reviewers got but I'm pretty happy with my scooter purchase. Assembly was pretty easy and I fully charged the scooter before taking it out for testing. My first ride I went 7 miles on crappy NYC streets with cracks and bumps everywhere and it was just fine. Battery indicator went down by only half a bar from that trip. Quality also seems be pretty great, gives a stable and sturdy ride.

I uploaded a picture of the console display. Honestly that's what it looks like indoors. If you're using it outdoors, you'd need it bright to actually read it during the daytime.

All in all, yea I'd recommend it.

First my son loves scooters so to imagine when he got this from Santa this year was the best. This got ax xr ultra electric scooter with a powerful lg battery 36v will go up to 17 miles. I would consider that long-range and it is very powerful with a 300w motor that can go up to 15.5 mph, and if you see it you would think that is almost too fast. 
So, we moved Grandma just two stops signs away in our neighborhood as she needs more attention so not only is my son taking advantage my daughter is as well. They can check on her take her for a walk and bring her lunch. (wearing a backpack of course) This innovative portable folding design with one step system is also is great for our house as we can store it in the front closet to keep it safe and always charged.

It is considered a long-range electric scooter with the high capacity large battery at 7.0ah with a maximum travel range of up to 17 miles We will never of course let them go more than a mile or so but they do not have to charge it. CirclK is only 1.2 miles away no stoplights how convenient hey Chase, got get us a gallon of milk for you baby brother. (sister accompany of course)

I have actually ridden this electric powered scooter a couple of times for fun and to teach them the safety, it is adequate for adults as well. With the quiet 300w motor, boasting top speed of 15.5 mph and max load of 220 lbs. It is great for the whole family and so much fun. Featuring a dual braking system keeps you felling safe as a dad.

I really love this electric scooter.For beginners it might be a little hard because you might not know how to control the speed,but after a while ,you’ll get the hang of it .My kids ride it basically everyday and would fight over whose turn it was.Everytime (when the scooter is fully charged) they would go for more than 10 mpg and it would last for around 2 hours.The whole thing lasts for 16 miles before having to charge again .So I recommend this to anyone who wants to buy an electric scooter.

We bought two for our kids for Christmas in Michigan. Were not able to use it till this spring One is fantastic. The other will not keep a charge. We reached out to the company 3 times now with an auto response they would reply within a 24 hours. After a couple weeks we have still received no response. They hide behind a 180 day warranty and you are on your own. Very disappointed in the company and their lack of response. Although the working product is good it is negated by the lousy service. We are now having to buy another unit after spending almost $400. Definitely will not be from this company. Buyer beware.

An early birthday present for hubby. Due to COVID, we have lots of extra time on hand so I got him a new “toy” to kill some time and also bond with our son. Assembly was quick and easy, took me only 10 minutes. The scooter itself is a beautiful matte black, very heavy and sturdy. I was surprised at how heavy it was, being a full size adult, I even find it too heavy to carry from the house down to the garage. Definitely not as portable as I thought. The weight doesn’t matter too much to us as we don’t plan on having to lift it much but for those who plan to use it as commute in the city, it’s definitely something to consider. It wouldn’t be fun lifting it up and down the steps to take subs and or buses. We took it for a ride a couple times now, ride was pretty smooth, even when going up hill. Took it to do a little grocery pickup once, and had no trouble hanging grocery bags on the handles and still balance really well, the weight of the scooter came helpful in this case. I would definitely recommend this to friends who’s looking for short commute or leisure fun, with not too much lifting involve.

I can ride it comfortably, my young 8-10 daughters can ride it comfortably. The brakes are solid and reliable. It is a sturdier ride than smaller “for kids” scooters. This is the right choice for a starter scooter, and may be all most people will ever need. I usually ride a Ninebot Max, which is a tank, but this is a much better value and has similar sturdiness and capability.

This is a newer model with increased range. You can tell by the white paint and logo on the shaft. They did away with 1,2 speed selection, which means no longer having to fiddle with that each use. They added a second lock to the folding mechanism like others in the industry have done.

The ride is very smooth because of the large pneumatic tires. We have a lot of hills that are no problem with the powerful motor. When folded, it locks on the fender, which is a common approach. The fender feels flimsy but, in practice, is strong enough and has not broken.

The scooter breaks all the time and I'm constantly fixing it. What makes it worse is that you can't buy parts from gotrax. they have the parts on their website but you can't actually order them because they are always sold out. The customer service is horrible you can't actually contact them even when you write an email they just never respond. It hasn't even been a year yet and my scooter is on its end of life. I strongly recommend buying something else with better reliability. All of their claims about the distance it will travel are lies which just makes me not trust the company.

Update:

I always liked the portability of this scooter as the other scooter we have (Ninebot Max) is just too heavy to lug around for daily commuting.

Six months after buying this scooter I developed a problem with the latch that hooks the scooter close / open. It is easy to close but VERY difficult to open. It got to a point that the latch broke and there was no place for me to buy a replacement.

I then reached out to the Canada Customer Service team and they gladly sent me the replacement part - free of charge!

I know now that the latch issue can be remedied by adjusting it. Thanks again GoTrax for the splendid service even beyond the warranty period.

I've had mine for over a week and ridden it daily. The tires don't seem to hold air particularly well, I end up having to add air every other day. The battery life is pretty great however.

The speedometer seems to read fast, I've checked with my GPS and it says I'm doing 13.5Mph and the scooter says 15.5, the front head light isn't particularly great, but I plan on adding some lighting mods to my scooter.
