update 12-23: So when I first got it I oiled it well and let it soak in before wiping it off. All was good for the first month. I used it primarily for making sandwiches and cutting cheese. I have never placed it in water or let it soak. Yesterday I made pork-chops and placed them on the board straight from the pan. A few minutes later I had juice all over my counter. Upon examining the situation I discovered that the board had split halfway down the center from one end and about 2 inches from the other end. I can't say with 100% certainty that the board wasn't split prior to placing the pork-chops upon it. The board is useless now and I'm hoping I have some recourse because I've literally used this thing like 8 times. I'm 46 years old and have never had a cutting board split on me from placing a hot piece of meat on it so I think it speaks upon the quality of the glue holding the board together more than the perception of misuse.
Update 12-29: I originally gave it 5 stars then lowered it to 1 after it split. I sent them an email at 4pm today explaining what had happened. I didn't ask for a refund and assumed they would offer a replacement. Instead they emailed me 2 hours later and gave me a full refund. So in appreciation of the customer care I'm giving it a couple of more stars. I may run it through the table saw and try to re-glue it.
My previous board was 20 x 14 and about 2 inches thick. It looked beautiful but the feet kept coming off. Worst of all I needed to store it on it's side against the wall and more than once it slammed down on the counter. After it took out a full Britta pitcher it went into retirement.
