Great sampler pack. I wanted to try these gourmet salts that I've seen on the Food Network and whatnot. First, let me say that the size of each sample is pretty substantial, much bigger that what I expected. The only salt I was immediate put off by was the Indian salt which is very sulfuric and powdery. It has a very strong flavor of egg and isn't very pleasant. Needless to say, i wont be using that one. The black and red salts (both coarse grains and from Hawaii) look amazing and have a special taste to them. They will give your basic dishes a certain flair. Another thing I didn't care for was the packaging. It is one long cylinder, with each compartment being the lid to the one underneath. I had hoped they would be individual canisters, but no such luck. Small complaint anyway, as these are meant to be a sampler. All in all, this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to any aspiring home cook.
