You May Not Like the Message, but Most of the Conclusions are Spot On

I was having trouble getting to sleep when this book came across my Kindle, but after the first few pages I knew it was going to be a long night. First of all, I've never listened to Savage's radio show (I'm just not a radio guy), or purchased any of his books. Contrary to the one star reviewers who didn't actually read this book, I think the central theme is undeniable. We have a government that only acts to expand itself at the expense of the citizens. We have zero leadership, zero accountability and zero representation. The historical parallels that the author highlights are also interesting, along with his comparison of the Progressive movement and the Islamofascists, who come from different perspectives, but who appear to have the same goal; the destruction of freedom as manifested by the American Ideal.
Lest you think that this is some sort of Republican rah-rah book, I should point out that Savage keenly illustrates the fact that recent periods of Republican control have given us nothing in terms of smaller, more efficient government or more freedom, but have only yielded an imperceptible slowing of the Progressive agenda. This is probably best manifested by the kabuki theater surrounding the most recent debt ceiling debate where Republicans look to acquiesce to the tune of over $19 trillion, while achieving nothing meaningful in return.

If you love your country, or better yet, have fallen out of love for your country because the pirates in Washington D.C. and around the world have hijacked it - YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK. I mean really read it. Cover to cover. And after you have read it, read it again. Dr. Savage levels the big guns at "both" political parties. I say "both" because as this book and his previous books have revealed, we have just one political party. This book is eye opening in so many ways, I had at least a dozen moments where I said "Holy s***! I never thought of that before! Now it makes perfect sense!"

I am not saying that the book is perfectly written, there are moments of repetition that need to be waded through, but that could have been a mechanism to drive certain points a little deeper.

If I had enough money, I would leave a copy of this book every place I went; the dentist, doctor, mechanic, school, library, McDonald's, everywhere; just in the hopes that a few would pick it up and glean something from it. Too many people walk around in a medicated delusional haze while our country is pulled out from under our feet.

For those that are prone to say, "Meh, this is typical right-wing, conspiracy theory, conservative propaganda", to you I say not so fast. If you truly feel like an enlightened, open-minded, objective individual, give it a chance. Give it more than a chance. Read it. Check out the references that he uses that back up his claims. I assure you they are NOT from Wikipedia and the Drudge Report. He exposes how the government(s), media, corporations, the Fed, and scientific institutions, are in bed with one another with the ultimate goal of making money for themselves by imposing increasingly restrictive regulations and crippling taxes. This is a learned man with infinitely more life experience than about 95% of the American population and his words should not be taken lightly.

Why should you read this book?

I've been an avid listener of Dr. Savage since I was in college and now I'm out of law school.

What makes this book different from the standard conservative Anti-Obama/Anti Establishment books is that Micheal Savage is one of the rare true independent nationalists in the media. He doesn't repeat Republican talking points or give you the same dull statements made by every other conservative. Dr. Savage is an independent Patriot and tells it like he sees it.

The second reason to buy this book is that it is full of facts that you are probably unaware of backed up with pages of end notes.

The theme of the book is that Western culture is dying at a fast pace and America politicians don't represent the people anymore. Instead of representing Western values and the American people, the government represents non-citizens instead of American citizens, Islam instead of Judeo-Christian values, and Progressivism as opposed to limited government free market classical liberalism.

The reason why you should read this book is because it points out the importance of Western culture on our everyday lives. What you need to understand is that it took 2500 years since the death of Socrates to develop western culture. Ideas like limited government,equality under the law, free speech, separation of church and state, separation of state and economics, free trade, free markets, the scientific method, modern medicine, ethics, philosophy, rational thinking etc. All of these great ideas took generations to create. The roots of western culture are "Skepticism," and challenging once held truths.

Dr. Savage helps to illustrate that Western culture is withering away because the CULTURE is no longer being preserved. The theme is that in order for your children to live in a free society we must preserve these great western values that millions of people among the planet would love to live in. Only the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe share these values and they are disappearing before our eyes.

The book is divided into 13 Chapters.

Chapter 1: Government Zero-Dr. Savage gives a nice introduction on the problems we face today that include the recent 2014 midterm elections and how elections may not be enough to save this nation.We gave Republicans control of the White House, Senate and House and we have gotten little from it. Dr. Savage also discusses how the Supreme Court has trampled on the Constitution through Obamacare and gay marriage. Dr Savage also discusses the Progressive Islamist takeover with progressives defending Islamists at the expense of Americans. He talks about the Muslim refugee crisis and how ISIS and Al Qaeda have infiltrated them. Savage calls for "Nationalism" and discusses the difference between Hitlers National socialist party and Savages Nationalism and addresses the critics who will accuse him of advocating Nazism.

Chapter 2-Zero Leadership-Savage discusses the rogue Presidency and how Obama has divided the country on race, religion and political orientation. I like this chapter because Savage shares with us a dream he had in which his intuition told him that the only way to save this country is through spiritualism not politics. Savage goes into detail of what leadership is by disusing Cicero as well as discussing why we lack leadership now with Obama. Savage goes on to discusses leadership Post Obama with issues like Common Core, Israel, and the Republicans.

Chapter 3-Zero Strategy Against ISIS-Savage talks about how Islam is antithetical to the values of America. He also discusses the type of America Obama loves which as you can guess is not the Judeo Christian version. Savage also discusses Islams thousand year war on the west with some great facts on nuclear Iran, the global threat of radical Islam, and the media jesters covering up reality and who ignore this threat.

Chapter 4-Zero Military- Savage discusses how Stalin purged his generals in the 1940's for fear they were plotting a coup against him, Obama has purged our senior military officials such as David Petraeus and General McChrystal.Savage goes into detail of how and why these military leaders were ousted. Savage also discusses how our troops have been undermined through their new training as well as how the administration has undermined our allies with the help of the media.

Chapter 5-Zero Education-Savage discusses how our US students rank 24th in literacy and 31st in math literacy and the ideas taught in public school such as people are evil and are polluting the world, oil is evil, the free market is evil. Savage also discusses how multiculturalism has penetrated our schools. Savage also discusses common core and its failures as well as the education loan bubble which has turned students into debt slaves.

Chapter 6-Zero Culture. Savage discusses how our culture including movies like "American Sniper" are spit upon by Hollywood and the culture that individuals like Harvey Weinstein and Tarantino have promoted in their films and how they have made money on violent gun films while promoting anti gun messages in their own politics. Savage also discusses how movies have promoted anti capitalism through their false portrayal of businessmen and entrepreneurs.

Chapter 7-Zero Immigration. Savage discusses how illegal immigrants have the power to vote in America and are not looking to assimilate. Savage also discusses the refugee crises and how ISIS is using our open border to come across. Savage goes into detail about certain ISIS plots through our broken immigration system. Savage also discusses third world diseases such as Enterovirus 68 being brought in by immigrants and how our health departments are overwhelmed with this and how the media has covered it up. Savage goes on to discuss how non profits and corporations have profited off of immigration such as GEO group.

Chapter 8 Zero Religion-Savage discusses facts about the Pope. He goes into a brief history of Popes throughout history and how the papacy has become politicized. Savage explains how just 8 months before taking office, Pope Francis published "Evangelii Guadium which he criticizes capitalism. Savages discusses how we should take a critical eye to the Pope. The Pope is not a God but only a human being with flaws. Savage also discusses how the Pope has made excuses for the killing of the Charlie Hebdo employees which were Islamist murders. Savage also discusses how the Pope has been used as tool of the political class to promote phony global warming science in his "Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home which is a political manifesto.

Chapter 9 Zero Science-Savage discusses Trofim Lysenko who was a Soviet scientist.. Lysenko rose to prominence in the 1930's and how Stalin and Lysenko denied the existence of genes and other anti rational beliefs. Savage uses his own science background to illustrate how real science workss and how Lysenko didn't follow any of these principles because he wasnt a real scientist. Savage also discusses the ICCP's flaws in their push for global warming and how the global warming studies have been skewed.

Chapter 10-Zero Business Sense-Savage discusses the ominous story of the stock market, and the corruption of the Federal Reserve. Savage discusses the devaluing of our currency and how our country has been swindled by bad trade deals supported by both parties. Savage criticizes NAFTA and discusses why STEM cell has so much support and how it is truly a scam with the immigration system.

Chapter 11 Zero Liberty-Savage discusses how Pamela Gellar was attacked on criticizing Islam. Savage discusses how media individuals such as Bill O Reilly on Fox news have been soft on Islam and the issues with the Southern Poverty Law Center which encourage violence. Savage also discusses the corruption of the ACLU, bias in the media and a list of news outlets that have contributed money to the Clintons. Fox News contributed between 1 million and 5 million to Clinton.

Chapter 12-Zero Police-Savage discusses how Obama and the Attorney General have used certain leftist groups like the ACLU to control the police. Savage discusses how groups like "Black Lives Matter" are really an intimidation force of Obama to intimidate the pubplic and the police into submission just like Hitler did with the Brownshirts in Nazi Germany.

Chapter 13-Saving a Nation with Nationislim-Savage lays out a chapter of answers on how to save the nation. Some of my favorite include end all foreign aid, allow profiling in security investigations, close all tax loopholes for Hollywood, fund all climate science research to include the skeptics and End the H-1B visa program.

Savage ends with 24 pages of endnotes. What makes this book special is how Dr. Savage is able to link the current problems with his knowledge of history as well as his own personal experiences with a little humor added. I encourage you to pick up this book if you're interested in preserving Western Culture.
