John Baldoni’s new book on the power of GRACE is a must read for all of us and particularly for anyone seeking to serve in a leadership role. In a world where good manners and courtesy sometimes seem to have gone out of style, this book is a practical guide for bettering relationships in all types of human connections. In a spiritual sense grace is unearned and as such, it is yours to use for the betterment of self and others. Grace as a gift is a catalyst for positive change to enable the greater good.
Baldoni’s GRACE mixes stories of everyday heroes with interviews of notable thought leaders. The results give practical insights into generosity, respect, and compassion coupled with the energy and actions it takes to deliver on these virtues. Creating an acronym, Baldoni helps us distinguish the attributes of grace in Generosity, Respect, Action, Compassion and Energy.
We can apply these universal truths in ordinary as well as extraordinary situations. The many examples of grace in everyday life allow us to witness human dignity and humility and remind us what wonders we can accomplish when working together. This is an inspiring collection of personal stories that combines wisdom with positive outcomes.

John Baldoni talks about leading and creating with grace, which means looking out for the fellow human who comes to you for employment.
This is an era in which any kind of human feeling is sacrificed in the drive to make millions for stockholders. Businesses are run solely for the stockholders. The employees at the low end of the income spectrum are squeezed into poverty. And it's not right. Creating a big company that provides work for thousands is a good thing. Abusing those thousands of human beings is bad. That is the dilemma John Baldoni addresses in "Grace."

"If you're led by hubris, then you'll tell the poor, here's what your problem is; here's how you fix yourself. If you're humble you'll ask the poor, what would help you?"
- Greg Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries.
"The best teammates practice the mantra, 'Always be around.' They don't clock in mentally because their clock is always ticking."
- Sister Cortina Kent, artist and educator.
"Whatever you are facing is part of your world. It's not your world."
- Mike McKinney, President and CEO of Leadership Now.
"Unlike time, energy is a renewable resource."
- Christine Porath, professor at Georgetown University.
"If your company could talk, what would it say right now?"
- Scott Moorhead, CEO of Round Room.
