Todd's music spans a range of "rock" music styles, from the somber, heavy guitar minor strains of "This Fragile Breath" to his rather jazzy arrangement of the popular worship song "Kindness". In between are the very contemporary sounds of "You Are" and "Romans 12:1" (which includes a wonderful worship chorus), to the soul-stirring "Shepherd." Also included are two songs about deep contrition, repentence and forgiveness in "Still Here Waiting" and "Wait for Your Rain" -- both of which will hit you right where you live and bring a lump to your throat. Most of these songs draw heavily on the minor keys to produce a sound that it as once very enjoyable but also very conducive to deep introspection. These qualities, as well as the relatively easy guitar chord arrangements, make them very "playable" for small group worship settings.
Finally, to put a capper on an already great CD (as if more were needed), Todd includes contemporary remakes of some old favorites. The title track, "Grace Like Rain", takes the old classic "Amazing Grace", restyles it in Todd's unique manner, and adds a rousing chorus between the verses -- a treat that is definitely NOT to be missed. "Amazing Grace" will never sound the same to you again.Read more ›
Todd has a great voice and edifying lyrics that will get you down-right emotional about worshipping the Lord. I hope to hear more of this young talent in the coming years.
Standouts include 'This Fragile Breath', 'Grace Like Rain', 'Romans 12:1' (The chorus should be a required worship song in every church !!), 'You Are' & 'Only One Thing'.
Get this CD, turn up the volume and turn you heart to God and worship !!
The title track to this album quickly became, and remains to this day, my favorite song of all time. The rest of the album is wonderful, but cannot overcome Grace's initial impact as a new listener. Todd Agnew shares the credit for bringing me back to Jesus.
UPDATE: I subsequently saw Todd Agnew in concert. Sadly, his attitude is that if we don't give to his chosen charity, we are not Christians. When I met him after the concert, as he signed autographs, my wife complimented him and thanked him. He was rude and dismissive.

I like this CD as he is one of my favorite Christian artists. I did not expect to be getting two for the price of one, however. Guess I didn't read the ad very well. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Beverly

Todd Agnew's style is edgy and reverent at the same time. He satisfies my desires for a "rock" alternative and meaningful worship/praise to our creator! Read morePublished 11 months ago by Kimberley P.
