Marriot tells how her birth mother was raped by three high school classmates. The young mother chose to give her child two parents instead of raising alone the baby she loved so much.
Author Marriot Cole has learned through every event in her somewhat unusual life that GOD truly works ALL things together for good. She's learned to trust God no matter what happens. Cole listens to and OBEYS God and He responds with His blessings, especially during difficult times.
Grace, Miracles and Chocolate will inspire and challenge readers along with their chuckles and tears for her and her family. Be prepared for a well-written story that will leave its impact on your heart.
This wonderful and inspiring journal of a God-fearing woman, Marriott Cole, will take you to the highest of highs and lowest of lows, showing God's true love, grace and mercy to His children. She shows the struggles that even Christians will go through and the promises that our one and only true Lord will keep, the blessings that are poured forth during the times of good and bad. She is a mentor to all Christians, both young and old in age and faith.
I could not put this book down. I cried and laughed. It was easy to put yourself in her place and relate your own walk of faith with hers. And for those who do not yet have a relationship with Jesus Christ, she shows a true heartfelt journey of life with the Lord. It isn't all hard nor is it easy. I highly recommend reading this book and thank the author for sharing her life with us.
Having gone through more than most people go through in a lifetime, Cole clings to hope and grows stronger in her faith in the refuge of the Lord. Her book contains 47 chapters - chapters that personally inspired me and showed me how the grace of God worked (and continues to work) in Cole's life - and in all of our lives as well.
Grace, Miracles, and Chocolate is a heartwarming book that I highly recommend. As a matter of fact, I recommend buying two - one for you and one to give as a blessing to someone else.
Highly recommended. So very inspiriting. I never understood God's grace and what it meant until I read this book. I have spent years trying to earn what God had already given to me freely- eternal salvation. I no longer see God as a task master ready to step on me for the smallest infraction. I now see him as the God who loved me even when I was at enmity with him. That's grace! I see God as a holy, gracious, generous, loving, and good God.
