Rebecca grew up close to the Indian reservation where her parents were missionaries. Although she understood the power of Jesus Christ, after the murder of her best friend, she turned to Indian spirits for protection. As frightening as some spirits were, others seemed almost friendly. In fact, she thought God sent His angels to comfort her in her loneliness. Believing lies and accepting demons as her spirit-helpers led to suicidal thoughts and left her wondering if she really was insane. Teachers and pastors condemning her to hell raised more questions and doubt about who God was. Was there any hope of freedom from the spirit voices in her head? Could she escape the demons that terrorized her with their presence? Was she doomed to insanity? Then a stranger dared to care. Hope, like a tiny seed, took root as she began to see God’s grace through others who surrounded her with love. It wasn’t long before she realized it was God’s grace that was leading her on her journey to freedom.

Rebecca and I (and our husbands) were in the same small group Bible study in Austin, TX! She and her husband are living testimonies of God’s love and grace in raising their two autistic boys. Her book reveals God’s hand on her life through all she experienced and the power of God’s Word and caring friends who prayed for and with her through difficult circumstances and demonic oppression bringing ultimate freedom and victory in Christ as she surrendered all areas of her life to Him. I couldn’t put her book down as I was eager to get to the part sharing how she ultimately experienced freedom from the demonic forces that terrorized her which began at such a young age on the Indian reservation where her parents were missionaries. She’s a good, descriptive writer sharing the ups and downs of our walk with God and the freedom found only in Him.

Her story has so much strength and hope in it, and an unwavering belief that God is good, even in the midst of Hell! Do yourself a favor an buy this book. Then buy one for your pastor, another for your church Library, and still another for a friend who may be going thru their own uncertain time with God. You wont be sorry!

I didn’t want to put this book down. I am aquatinted with Becky personally, and was privileged to “hear” the text in her voice. I am amazed at all she has gone through. This book has a few editing errors that made me stumble a bit sometimes. Much more importantly though, are the many Biblical truths it states, explains, and illustrates. It is well worth the read.

Rebecca shares how he weaves his web through her life playing havoc at every turn. In spite of satan's attics, God intervenes through providing friends who ultimately aid her in deliverance. Rebecca paints a vivid picture of this roller coaster ride. Great read.
