I loved this book! I was so fortunate enough to have read it previously. It's about people being brought into your life at the right time even though it seems totally wrong. It's about learning to forgive when you have already been lied to your whole life. You can't always control your attraction or feelings you have for someone. It seems as though it's always stronger when it's known that there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. What happens when you give in and cross that line knowing you are hiding the truth? Is it worth the trouble and pain when you know very well how messy it could all end? Yes it is worth it. If you never take that leap you will never know how beautiful it can turn out to be. This is a must read! I love Grace and Parker! Parker brings the make sure you bring your fan :0)

Grace has a life where she likes to pretend that everything is okay. She's buried her past down deep and wants it to stay buried there. Her roommate and best friend Maci convinces her it's time to go out and celebrate their graduation from college at a local bar. What Grace doesn't realize is that Maci has set her up with a man named Carson who spends more than half his time starring at other women when they are near him or walk by. Feel alone and out of place she watches as her best friend flirts with her date and leaves her to fend off the unwanted advances of a complete stranger.

That's the night she meets Parker Porter. Parker meets up with his friend and brother for a drink after he's had a rough afternoon. Parker moved to Iowa from Alabama to help run a new branch that has just been opened. He's called into work on a Saturday and is not happy. That is until he opens up the file his father hands him indicating the girl in the photo is their next case. He's to follow her and report what she does all day everyday to biological father a man named Mark Jacobs. The moment he opens Grace's file, the fireworks go off and he knows that he'll have trouble staying away from this one because her innocent blue eyes hold so much promise within them.

He didn't expect to find her in the bar that night. He wasn't suppose to start trailing her until Monday. But a chance encounter between them will change everything for ever. Parker awakens a side of Grace she never knew she had. When they are together she's on longer the timid, quiet girl that she once was, now she's a woman who knows what she desires and goes after it.

I was really worried off reading this book. I was like "Oh no, another damaged girl and guy swoops in to save her and yet he is also damaged." lol. But, it surprised me in some ways things were predictable and in some ways many aspects of the book have been done. But there are also many things in this book that are differen't, unique, lovely. I really loved this book and will give it a 4.5 stars. What Grace had to go through is horrible, I can't even imagine. But she was able to move on and find love with Parker. I love Parker he is AMAZING and those two had some of the hottest sex scenes probably ever written. Good lord I needed to cool myself off a few times. The book had amazing and strong characters and so much humor, when Parker admits to Grace what he did in his truck outside of her apartment the first night, I could not stop laughing. BEST.Thing.EVER! Carson was amazing and hilarious and I hope maybe in the future he has his own book. Maci was a wonderful friend and I'm so happy Grace had her all those years. Mark at the end confused me, the accident, did he do it on purpose? or was it just a draw of the luck? I sit here wondering about that. His letter really touched me and redeemed himself a tiny bit in my eyes with that. Brody also, I'm glad he got what he deserved and it's twisted, but happy he did what he did at the end. And with the ending I was so happy about adopting kids, I LOVED THAT! The book had a few grammar errors and some sentences that kind of didn't make sense, but it didn't take anything away from the story, well for me. I truly loved it and it was a beautiful and graceful mess. A must read <3

Some quotes I loved:

"My heart is safe with you. I just want you to man up and take it. I love you too. I can't believe you are too blind to see that.

Parker that boy is very vocal in his wants, "this is how bad I effing want you. I want to be buried deep in you and feel your tight, little pu**y. I know it's tight and ready for me. I can practically smell it and taste it. And I know you want me too. All I have to do is lay you back and pull down those little panties then make you mine. I can see the look in your eyes. You're curious and want this too. Don't you?" Parker's mind is seriously interesting, "what kind of question is that? Hell yeah, I want to get out of here and get you out of that cute, little, coral sundress thingy." I mean I REALLY did love being in his mind, "one second she is shy, almost fragile, and the next second she is a horny beast. Like my di** is her crack and she is addicted." And the things that come out of his mouth during intercourse, "did you just swallow my nut?" He's also not bashful I like that in a man, "he doesn't move his hand or anything to cover his penis that is just hanging out there, like he doesn't have a care in the world." It takes awhile but Grace finally lets go and tells Parker what she wants during certain situations, "Parker, I need you. I want you inside me. Please eff me. Use your mouth to take away my pain. I'm begging you." Loved this book and I want Carson's story next!
