Graco makes two combination seats: The Argos and the Nautilus. The two seats are very similar. The Argos has a slightly higher weight limit than the Nautilus and also has a no re-thread harness which makes it much easier to adjust the harness (you just squeeze the lever on top of the seat and pull the harness up as opposed to having to uninstall the seat, un-thread the harness, re-thread it through a higher slot, and then reinstall the seat). In my opinion it's well worth spending the extra money for the no re-thread harness.

Weight Limits:
-The Argo's has a 65 pound weight limit in harness mode, a 100 pound weight limit in high back booster mode, and a 120 pound weight limit in backless booster mode.
-The Nautilus has a 65 pound weight limit in harness mode, a 100 pound weight limit in high back booster mode, and a 100 pound weight limit in backless booster mode.

Height Limits:
-The height limits are the same for the two seat: The top harness slot is 18 inches, the top guide for the belt in high back booster mode is 21 inches, and the maximum height in backless booster mode is 57 inches. If your child is tall you may want to look into the Britax Pioneer or Pinnacle as they have higher height limits.

Expiration:
-Both seats have a 10 year expiration.

Harness:
-The Argo's has a no-rethread harness so you can quickly and easily adjust the harness. The harness on the Nautilus is a hassle to adjust.

Other:
The crotch buckle is not very deep on either seat and this can be uncomfortable for some kids, especially boys.

***There was a recall on older versions of this seat due to the buckle becoming very difficult to unlatch. This seat now comes with the newly designed buckle so this is no longer a problem****

I already had one for my now 4 year old and loved it (after the buckle recall fixed the sticking problem). I paid $200 for that one and will say it was worth the price. When I saw it as a today's deal for $115 after $25 mail in rebate (only good thru 10/31/14), I decided to pick one up for my 1 year old daughter. The car seat arrived today and I couldn't be happier!

APPEARANCE/MATERIAL:

The car seat is pretty heavy if you will be needing to switch cars regularly.

The purple color is pretty true to what is seen online.

It is very easy to set up right out of the box. It comes already assembled; you only have to fold up the car seat back until it locks into place. I now have two in the back seat of a Sonata. My 8 yr old can sit in between them albeit with very little room to spare :)

The seat material is easy to maintain and removes easily for cleaning. Most importantly for me, the material doesn't leave your child's back so sweaty after a long car ride.

FEATURES:

The harness can be removed once your child outgrows when they are 65 lbs. There are readily accessible release buttons to remove the back and convert the seat into a plain booster to accommodate a child up to 100 lbs.

The strap height is easily adjusted by pressing the red button at the top of the head support and lifting upward.

There is also a recline feature which is just as easy to use by pressing the red button at the front bottom of the seat.

We bought this for our 2.5 year old daughter who weighs in at 31 lbs and 37 inches. Prior to this we were using a Graco MyRide 65, but we wanted to switch her over to a 'big kid' seat. While we had loved that one initially, she no longer enjoys the 'carseat' feel now that curiosity has set in (she likes to be able to see out the windows, converse with whomever is in the car with us, etc.). Anyhow, it was between this and the nautilus - obviously, this was our choice, and I believe we are content with our decision.

Installation was extremely easy in our SUV, it took my husband about 5 minutes. It seems sturdy, extremely comfortable, and not as bulky as I initially thought it'd be. The real test came when my daughter saw it for the first time - she was ecstatic at the idea of sitting up straight and having more room to see and move, well, move as much as one can while in a seat anyway.

I appreciate the cup holder and little cubby holes built in, though I am concerned that since they are plastic, the heat may be an issue during summer - we figured we'd just throw a blanket over the seat when we park the car for prolonged periods of time. Our summer is quite mild this year so it has yet to be an actual issue with us - just thought I'd point that out.

The buckle is easy for both my husband and myself to operate - thank goodness! No more struggling, as we all know every second counts when an excited/irritated/hot/anxious/screaming child is eagerly waiting to be let out.

Another concern for me is the recline - there really isn't much of one. My daughter has fallen asleep twice since we've received this, and her head keeps falling forward. Sometimes she can't get as comfortable as she'd like to it seems. Husband's resolved this by using a travel pillow, but still.
