Big seat that fits in small spaces

My Wife and I don't do the best at planning ahead. So when our kid was upgraded to a convertible car seat, we were extremely worried. My wife has a small coupe and we weren't sure if we would be able to find one that could fit. So when we went looking for car seats, we looked for the following:

1) we wanted something budget friendly because we are already spending an arm and leg for diapers.
2) we wanted something to keep our son cool. We have three digit temperatures where we are located at
3) something that could fit in a toyota corolla and the passenger didn't have to move their seat to the point where they were kissing the dash

We were able to get all three elements taken care of. This was a very budget friendly convertible seat and the fact that it grows with the kid makes it that much better of a financial investment. The fabric allows a lot of breathing room for our son during the hot days. He does get a little sweat still on his back but that is normal with all car seats. I know he isn't bothered by the seat with the fact that he always passes out with each car ride. Lastly, we were able to still move the front passenger and driver seat all the way back with the baby seat in the middle. I am 6'0 and enjoy any little leg room I can get.

We highly recommend this seat for your child.

Saved my daughter!

I bought this in target when it was on sale and I couldn't ask for a better and safer car seat! My daughter is 16 months old and still rear facing, she's so comfortable with the extended leg room! We were in an accident where my now totaled car spinned from the road into a neighborhood sign and she was laughing and playing in the back seat like nothing happened! Just added to cart and will be buying it again for my new car!

Wonderful with one flaw

Awesome seat but big flaw... I didn't buy from Amazon however got from baby store bran new in box. Something I want share.. This seat is comfy, cute and very safe. However they put their warning labels on the cushions. They are not fabric labels they are painted on. When your car heats up they get so hot that they will burn a baby or child on the top and lower part of their back. Just always make sure to feel it before you put your child in this seat.

The PERFECT car seat

There are a few things about this seat that are total game changers:

-50lb rear facing weight limit and NO standing rear facing height limit; all other seats on the market that rear face to 50lbs are so much more expensive and not nearly as compact
-SO MUCH LEGROOM
-affordable at $199!!!
-super comfortable, just enough cushion, shoulder pads, infant head and body inserts
-6 recline positions, 4 of which can be used rear facing
-EASY TO INSTALL
This seat just takes the cake. This is THE CARSEAT. If you're wondering if you should buy it, YES, buy it!!!
Extended rear face! Rear facing is safer!! Rear face to 4 years!!

Overall, satisfied with this car seat! We're die heart Britax fans when it comes to everything but I hate that they never have cup holders. So after careful review, we went with this one! The only thing I'm not satisfied with is the color. It looks SIGNIFICANTLY different then the photo so be aware. It's not grey. It's like a brown purple almost.

I am going to start this by saying I am a strong supporter of extended rear facing. As parents, this is something we should all look into. There are groups on Facebook who can explain why this is necessary and help us all find the best seat for our kiddos.

Before my daughter turned 4, she outgrew the rear facing limits on her car seat. She was borderline 38-40lbs, so we decided to turn her forward. This did not sit well with me, so when this seat went on sale, I bought it.

The Extend2Fit (E2F) has a rear facing limit of 50lbs, so my now 4yr old can sit in it easily.

The seatbelt install was tricky but since she meets the limits of the LATCH, we used that. The cup holders are quite small, so we took them into Target and found a cup that works for it. The piece that extends out for a foot rest is absolutely amazing. It makes the install seem funny, but it is absolutely awesome. This is a seat I would definitely recommend for people who want to rear face for awhile and/or who have bigger kiddos.

The picture is of my 4yr old, who will be 5 in July, happily rear facing. And no, her legs are not at a big risk for being injured.

I was debating on this car seat and the Gravo 4ever car seat and decided to purchase this one due to it being less expensive (even though this one doesn't do a backless booster). I am so pleased with this car seat! it looks so clean and pretty! My daughter seemed really comfortable as well! She is 16.5 lbs and 10 months old- the white insert helps her to feel snug but not too snug. Installing was fairly easy which I am happy about. My only complaint is that when installing I can't tighten it as easily as I would like. They say it shouldn't be able to move 1" side to side- for it to be tight enough my husband has to do it. We decided to buy two rather than take in and out due to that reason. Overall I am really happy!

I like the car seat, but it's 100% not the color from the photo. I ordered it expecting the blue as pictured, but the gotham has no blue at all, it's black and grey. It's a nice seat, just not what was expected.

This car seat is not safe for any size child! There is no feature to keep the shoulder straps up. The straps continually slide off of the child’s shoulders!
