Purchase options and add-ons
Includes one month of deeply nutritious, kid-friendly, whole foods recipes, meal plans, and detailed shopping lists to make life easier!
"Informative and user-friendly. . . . the dishes are beautifully and simply photographed, and recipes are uncomplicated and attainable . . . . As a mother with a passion for delicious and healthy food I found this book inspiring."―Natural Medicine Journal
"This is a must-read for anyone involved in the health and well-being of children! It’s valuable information we all need to hear."―Hilary Boynton, author of The Heal Your Gut Cookbook
The Grain-Free, Sugar-Free, Dairy-Free Family Cookbook offers a new system to preparing food and approaching the kitchen that gets kids involved in cooking, encouraging excitement around food (a major challenge with restrictive diets). The recipes are rich in healthy fats, nutrient-dense vegetables, ferments, and grass-fed meats, and include snacks, school lunches, and delicious sweet treats that rival the flavors of sugar-dense desserts. By following Leah’s meal plans, parents will be sure to please everyone in the family and make cooking on a restrictive diet enjoyable and doable over a long period of time. Families that know they would like to rid themselves of grain, sugar, and dairy, but are intimidated by starting, will find Webb’s advice and troubleshooting invaluable.
Recipes include:
- Breakfasts and “breads”
- Main courses
- Vegetable sides and salads
- Soups and stews
- Snacks
- Sauces, dips, and dressings
- Smoothies and other drinks
- Ferments
- Sweet Treats
The cookbook outlines family-tested methods that make for effective and efficient preparation, including everyday basic recipes that will become part of a cook’s intuitive process over time. The best part is that although Leah prepares nearly every single one of her family’s breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks using whole food ingredients, she only spends four to six hours on food preparation per week! Through stocking her freezer, prepping the kitchen, shopping and cooking in bulk, and consistently planning meals, this diet plan is not only possible; it is manageable and fulfilling.
Prepare for this cookbook to radically change your life!

Easy to read very much needed information.
Perfect recipes that will be so easy to do and very good instructions on what to buy what’s a stock and how to cook love it!
I have PCOS and was looking for a grain free, sugar free, dairy free cookbook so that is what I googled and this came up! I am SO glad it did. I wanted a cook book that wouldn't just use sugar substitutes and try to make it taste sweet or give me some gross frankenstein bread type of recipe. She is more against natural sweeteners than I am (she said it took her 3 years to go through half a thing of maple syrup!) but that is exactly what I was looking for. I feel it's important that you know that before buying so you don't think you'll get stevia, coconut sugar, etc. type of recipes.
So far we have made 3 recipes - Kale Frittata, Herb Encrusted Chicken, and Summer Potato Salad. All were excellent! For the summer potato salad I wanted to note that I used store bought mayo and did not make my own. Other than that one recipe I followed the others to a T and they are now family faves! We can't wait to try more!
She tells you how long each thing will last in the fridge/freezer, how long it will take to prep and cook, and other things that are super handy when meal planning.
I am SO thankful for this cookbook and I can already tell it will be a staple for us.
The recipes are easy to follow and produce tasty surprises. I don’t have kids, but the explanations and advice for families seem useful and applicable to me. I also like the suggestions about cooking in bulk and streamlining the process in the kitchen.
Leah encourages a better quality of food and shows how to achieve that at home in a way that is affordable, efficient and satisfying.
I have used a recipe from this cookbook to prepare a healthy holiday dessert that was very well-received by friends. I have also prepared delicious entrees, salads and muffins at home that my partner and I have enjoyed.
This cookbook is a nice gift for friends. It can be used in any number of settings to bring some joy into cooking and eating simple, nutritious food. I highly recommend this cookbook.
