Bad Grammar Makes Me [Sic] 4-Piece Sandstone Coaster Set - Caddy Included
Here at Neurons Not Included, we enjoy a good pun. We even enjoy a bad pun, which now that we think about it are often the same thing. This coaster set is an example of a good bad pun, which may explain why we like it so much.
However, not everyone shares our opinion of the fine art of punnery. On the subject of puns, Samuel Johnson (1709 – 1784), the noted poet, essayist, moralist, literary critic, biographer, editor and lexicographer didn't care for them. He famously referred to punning as "the lowest form of humour".
Of course, his rather buxom wife was popularly known as "Tetty".
Really. You can't make this stuff up.
