I was intrigued by the premise of a murder mystery set in the Cayman Islands. I read the book over 5 days, so it kept my interest. However, I think a final edit would have sharpened the dialogue and removed some of the clunky paragraphs. e.g. The continual use of the phrase ‘the hedge fund manager’ was annoying. Conclusion: it’s ok for reading on a beach holiday i.e. Grand Cayman’s seven mile beach.
