By far the greatest GTA to date

By far the greatest GTA to date. I was skeptical (after playing GTA IV) that this franchise could be rescued (for me). Low and Behold, Rockstar has delivered what may contend for GOTY. The map is insanely huge, the characters are more diverse and wittier than ever before. The graphics that are displayed on the PS4 are fantastic and the light/shade modeling is superb. I never thought I would put my stamp of approval on another GTA title but I'm having the most FUN I've had with a game in quite some time.

If you still have your doubts, buy the disc version and play it for a while. The GTA franchise always retains a good resale value compared to other titles.

This game is still awesome all these years later. I bought this game almost three years after release and spent weeks playing it nightly. Once you complete the campaign/story they also have online which is awesome. I personally don't have time for the online play because I'm.not that good but it's awesome they continue to add new games/modes/adventures

The game is hard at times and follows a great story with the ability to switch back and forth between characters. you get to complete heists as well as smaller missions from hunting to parachuting to taking paparazzi photos.

they also have pop up missions and ranters. sometimes you can get someone's stolen wallet back or help round up immigrants. you can listen to one guy rant about America first and so on, I ran him over.

most of all just like the old GTA games you have the ability to just drive around, cause wars with the police, steal airplanes, infiltrate military base(get ready to respawn over and over or cheat codes)
I stole the raptor plane before. very fun to fly around and shoot down helicopters.

Overall, this is the best game with open world I have played. You can be who you want and do what you want. The game will probably not be topped. The end heist alone is worth the money for entry

If you're a fan of open world games, great stories, or just being able to goof around with your friends, Grand Theft Auto V will leave you satisfied. New to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions is higher quality visuals, a longer draw distance, and the ability to play in first person, which gives the game an entirely different, and an even more chaotic and violent, feel.

Tons of stuff to do, classic GTA gameplay, free DLC every month (Kudos Rockstar), first person view (not available in PS3 version). Sadly my trophies from PS3 didn't carry over as they were supposed to do. Graphics are subpar but its understandable given that it is basically a port. Price sound be lower by now (it still is $59.99).

The Gta V Playstation 4 version is a massive visual improvement over the PS3 version. Even watching videos online didn't do it justice. The vehicles, characters, lighting, weather, etc. are all incredibly detailed. The addition of the first-person view is refreshing, and feels "right", instead of feeling like an afterthought. I have yet to unlock all the additional content that you get as a returning player for upgrading, but I'm glad they added it.

First person brings a new perpective to the world in GTA, but the standard controls don't shoot without a delay in the R2 button a lot of other small bugs like turbo making your car slower. Rockstar should fix all these problems before just rehashing a last-gen game. Also thought that the online interface would be faster than ps3 version, but in fact has a lot of new issues that take forever or just freeze.

Amazing game with lots of different features and open world online mode. I definitely recommend it. My only complaint is how long the digital download takes to complete. If your Internet isn't up to participate It could take like 2 or 3 days to finish
