I like that is gives reminders for Grandma to write her stories for our daughter. Not sure about some of the questions but she can leave them blank, remove or write in something different no big deal. It’s smaller than I thought but I kind of like that.

Absolutely love this! I bought just about every kind I could for each of my daughters grandparents, and for myself as well.

It is going to be something for my daughter to treasure as she grows up and family members slowly pass. I wish I had this with relatives that are already gone. If you are all about your child knowing their relatives and their lives when younger even. Order this now you won’t regret it! Did i mention the price is so cheap compared to the stories your child will get to read about their loved ones!?

(review written by Nick's wife) I came across these memory books in a parenting magazine and loved the idea of having my children's grandparents fill them out. I even bought some for my grandparents to fill out for me.

After searching through everything Amazon has to offer, I ended up purchasing a variety of books. I bought Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, Tell Me Your Memories. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I really didn't think they would all be the same with a different cover page as they are. I was really disappointed in the size of the books. They are 4" x 5.5" with a 1" spiral binding. Each is about 1" thick. It is laid out for a full calendar year - each day having a different question or memory for the person do write about. The pages have a question at the top and are blank (no lines) below.

The other books I decided to purchase are: A Grandparent's Legacy and Memories for My Grandchild. A Grandparent's Legacy is laid out month-by-month with topics to discuss. The book measures 8" x 5" with a nice covered spiral binding and is about .75" thick. Each page has topics to discuss and lines for writing. Memories for My Grandchild has the most flexible layout - meaning there is no guide for filling things out at a certain time. It is also the largest book, measuring about 8" x 10" and just less than 1" thick. It has a covered spiral binding. This is the only book with a pocket in the back to drop in any special items and a pull-out page to fill in the family tree. The pages in this book are lined as well.

The books all cover similar questions and memories. I haven't gone page-by-page to compare, but have been pleased with what I've seen so far. Since the books are so similar, I'm basing my overall opinion on the appearance. My favorite would have to be A Grandparent's Legacy.

These little keep sake books are an amazing gift for everyone. If your parents like to tell stories about the old days, are willing to write some of those things down and you'd like to be able to have a little momento for the rest of your family to refer to when Gramma and Grampa are gone, PLEASE get one of these for everyone to share! They are invaluable and fun to use. My parents each have one and have really enjoyed writing in them so the grandkids have something to remember them by. Each page has a sometimes unexpected question for the writer to answer that guides you into stories you may never thought to tell or ask about.

My grandmother passed away the end of May (2016) and I had purchased a book like this for her a few years back. Shortly after, she had a stroke, and wasn't able to write very well. When she got sick, my mother gave me this book back, and many of the pages were left blank. I feel like there are so many memories that are now gone, questions I will never have answers for. I am determined to prevent that from happening again and purchased a book for my parents, step parents, my in-laws, and my husband and I. I am hoping to have them filled out entirely so my children will have a keepsake for after we are gone. All the books (grandpa, grandma, mother, father, etc.) are the same - 365 pages of the same questions - however questions you might never think of asking a loved one. I am excited to get the books finished and look forward to having my boys read them when they are older.

I purchased this book for my former mother in law. The kids and I couldn't agree on a gift so we agreed that they chose one without my vote and I chose one without their vote. This was my choice. I wanted something that their grandmother could share with them for years to come. We gave it to her as a family gift and she loves it. It ask fun questions about her past. I am sure there are questions she may chose not to answer or may not have an answer to but it will be fun for her to share with her grandkids when the book is finished. She liked it so much and now the kids are excited to see what she wrote in it, that we all agree we will get the Grandpa version for Father's Day to give to Grandpa
