A tiny bit of oil or butter won't hurt!

It's a nonstick frypan for one or two eggs and to be realistic about all the hype about being nonstick is ridiculous!? just a tiny smidgen of oil or butter isn't going to end the world! or add enough fat to hurt anyone. so cook your room temp egg on low heat and you'll have a perfectly cooked egg or two every time. oh as far as the egg take it outa the fridge 10-15 minutes before your going to cook it, it'll get room temperature, then it will cook evenly and all the way thru. and your granite stone fry pan will stay like new for a very long time!

I like the size of this fry pan. The experience I had with this pan was not what I expected. I have used it for fried eggs on three different occasions and have found the " non-stick to be false advertising. The best thing is the easy clean up. I would not recommend this product. I will be putting this out for yard sale.

Directions said pan was designed to cook eggs with no butter and to use low to medium heat. I cooked two eggs on low-med heat and they kept sticking. Tried seasoning pan with a bit of oil and tried again. Same results (see pic).

This is the second pan I've purchased, i brought the first one from Walmart and my granddaughter and I have been to all the Walmart's in surrounding area trying to buy another one to no avail, neither online, my daug burnt the 1st one, once burned they need cooking oil or butter to make it non stick!

Novelty is a great description.... not really sure why this size was designed. I purchased this small pan to warm up my two tablespoons of ground turkey and two tablespoons of broth. Believe it or not, this pan was too small for even that amount of food if you’re stirring it with a silicone spatula. As another fairness test, I attempted to fry up two eggs smushed together in the pan. Now, don’t get me wrong... it cooked the eggs fine. But, I’m all about keeping my stove top clean and the mess that splatters out isn’t worth PLAYING with a NOVELTY pan. I instead searched for a size just up from this one... still with the stone or “granite stone” and with a more curved up edge to accommodate splashing.

What a disappointment

I bought this pan for my wife. She has an egg for breakfast most mornings so I wanted her to have a small, easy to use pan to make it easier for her. You see all these commercials from different companies, the egg sliding around, not sticking at all (we also bought the orange coated non-stick pan - it stuck) ... the first thing that happened with this pan is that the egg stuck to the bottom of the pan. Very disappointed! We're going to keep the pan, see if there is something we can use, some method we can employ, to get the pan NOT to stick. I would say, save your money BUT the problem is, it's no worse than any other pan out there.
