    The vacuum chamber itself is simple, but effective. It was easy enough for my 6-year old to do with help. I'm not sure if he'd be able to do it on his own because he wanted to do it together. I'd guess some kids his age would be fine skinning items on their own, and some would need a lot of help.
    The decals went on nicely when we used the included tool to smooth out bubbles immediately after removing the items from the chamber.
    There was a nice amount and selection of Skinz included. The Skinz stay adhered to the models with regular play. Some places where we missed smoothing out bubbles did tear. It can actually be fun to patch up any tears, though.
    We will be buying refills for this toy, and my son is already excitedly thinking about items from around our house to "skin." (Acorns, small plastic animals, fidget spinners, etc.)

    I ordered the "Graphic Skinz Design Studio Girl" which is listed as including the Motorized Vacuum Chamber and 3 models, "Fluttering Butterfly, Mystical Seahorse, and Trinket Box." However, much to my disappointment, the Vacuum Chamber arrived with jewelry instead of the models. :( My box had bracelets, a locket, glasses, and charms. That wouldn't have been bad, if it was what I had chosen. But before purchasing this toy, I weighed my options quite carefully, and deliberately chose the kit which specifically includes the butterfly, seahorse, and box.
    I thought this was a mistake in inventory labeling or order fulfillment, but it happened TWICE. So, if you order this set, count on the vacuum chamber only, and not the included accessories.

    I have been looking at this for as a present now for a couple of years. This year, I decided to purchase it for my now 12 year old niece. It is a toy but quite fun. Definitely for an older kid that has patience and skill. There is a bit of a learning curve but I watched a quick youtube video and that was enough to get us started. You definitely can "skinz" any object but 3d ones are more harder than smooth surfaces. They need to be small to fit into the machine. One little tidbit of advice is not to wet the sponge too much. If the object is still wet or even damp when it comes out of the chamber, the skinz will rub off vs sticking to the object.

    We ordered this kit and received a different kit. The one we received had different toys to decoration. I also had to return it because the bag had a leak and would not seal entirely. The replacement I ordered was also the incorrect kit from what is pictured.
    The items itself is a fun idea but difficult to make the graphics smooth and wrap entirely around the toys. But my kids still had fun using them.
    It is basically like putting a temporary tattoo on a plastic toy to decorate it.

    We bought this last Christmas and we have now finished every project and then some! The extra graphic paper has found its use on old toys and even on our nails for fun! This was a super great toy. Only real problem was some of the curves to the projects made it difficult to wrap, and I really, really wish that the pegs that put the pieces together were a bit longer because pieces pop out of place all the time. We had to glue the wings to the butterfly because it really didn't want to stay together, however, do not let this stop you from purchasing it! This is one of our favorite toys and there will be refills under the tree this Christmas so we can have another fun year with it. It is a keeper.

    A coulpe things on this: First, you don't need it to do the skinz. I tried just placing the skinz in a model, and wetting the skinz with a cloth. It stuck just as well as it would have with the chamber. Second, the chamber will drain the four AA batteries in about 20 minutes! I think a food saver would be better to compress the skinz into place.
