pro: extremely fast and powerful card. extremely quiet, it's quieter than my pc fans and i can not hear it at all. handles everything I've thrown at it with no bumps or errors. lots of customization options and comes with extra programs.
cons: a bit big, would have trouble fitting in small cases. takes a bit of power to power it. No vga plugs (if your screen is old) other than that nothing so far i can think of.
Side note: i would recommend buying this card on websites other than amazon. I got it on sale for 270 on amazon (which i thought it was a good deal since it's usually listed around the 350 mark) after looking around, i noticed websites like new egg selling the same card for 220. this card retail sells around 220 and the fact that amazon list these around 350 is crazy to me. Don't make the same mistake i did and save yourself around 100 bucks
Compared to other 660 Ti's for single card setups: this card is good.
For Multi-Card/GPU Setups: This card is unacceptable due to it's extreme flexibility causing it to actually occupy the space of the neighboring expansion slots (this is a 2 slot card that can flex into a 3 slot area) and thus the fans may come into contact with solder points or surfaces of cards placed below it and literally send fan blades flying throughout your system.
The lower price isn't enough to justify buying this if you want to max out games and expect good framerates all the time.
For what it is, it's good, better than my old 560ti which couldn't run bf3 at 60 fps let alone 45 compared to this which is usually 60-70 depending on what's happening with rare dips into the 40 - 50's. I had minor success with overclocking it to a very high amount for around 20 minutes before the card refused to continue the game which was strange since the temperature was only 53.
All in all it does what I want it to and that's good enough for me until i can save up enough for a 680.
