Wild Whey is undenatured native whey protein made from the grass-fed milk of happy cows that roam and graze on organic pastures year round.

Native undenatured whey is whey made from directly from milk and does not go through any of the cheesemaking process.

The milk used to produce Wild Whey is gently pasteurized at the lowest minimum temperature allowed by law then immediately air-cooled using ambient air temperature as a means of protecting as much of the beneficial nutrition as possible.

Most whey is made from the whey liquid leftover after curdling milk and draining off the milk curds using added enzymes (and sometimes chemicals) as a byproduct of the cheesemaking process. This liquid was once considered waste until someone figured out how to make it into a powder.

Powders made as a byproduct of cheesemaking undergo more than necessary forms of heat, acid or enzymatic treatments, each of when can "denature" (damage) the whey.

The more processing, storing and transporting the milk and whey liquid undergoes, the lower quality product you end up with. I originally ordered the Wild Whey to add quality protein to my diet but only bought one container to start - it is more expensive than most so didn't want to take a chance that I wouldn't like it. I think it is well worth the higher price. What a relief to find that it actually tastes great - fresh and creamy and mixes very easily - something that I don't often find with other whey proteins I have bought. It is not as thick as others that I have tried but it doesn't have added thickening ingredients so that is fine with me. It is more expensive than what you find off the grocery shelf but really worth purchasing on a regular basis in my opinion as it has all the elements that I was looking for - grass fed and very gently handled without unneeded extra ingredients and quite tasty (a very important criteria for me - I don't like to try to choke down "healthy" food just because I bought it).

I really loved this product! Such amazing quality too. I've done some research into what is good and you've got to get grass-fed, hormone free cows. This protein comes from raw milk and not a cheese making byproduct. South Australian cows have good weather all year round so they don't have to go indoors in winter and are therefore grass fed all year round. It is also a concentrate and not an isolate and minimally processed to preserve the amino acid profile. It is in my opinion the best quality Money can by. And you have to pay for quality. I'll have to find something a little bit more cost effective because I use whey everyday and I'm already more than halfway through mine. If I could afford any protein though, this is the one I would by always!

I use this in my morning smoothie blended in a Ninja Bullet. While I usually prefer vanilla over chocolate, in this brand I actually prefer the chocolate because it has a very mild flavor (not the more intense flavor you'd expect from "dark" chocolate). I mix 1 scoop of chocolate Wild Whey with about 6 frozen dark sweet cherries and about 1/4 cup of frozen wild blueberries (wild are truly so much better!), and about 1/3 cup of organic skim milk. This is my favorite morning smoothie and I highly recommend it. I hope you enjoy yours! I love this product.

I love this whey powder. It is expensive at face value, but I love the quality, and it goes twice as far as my last whey powder... the scoop is less than half the size for the same amount of carbs / protein, etc. It is not toooo sweet, which I have not liked about other products. It is slightly sweetened with Stevia. (I hate it when they put too much sweetening in). This whey mixes really well, does not form a bunch of foam (like the cheaper ones do) and tastes really good. When I opened the container the smell was great.

I decided to try it since it is from grass-fed cows, minimum processing, and from whey concentrate instead of isolate.
