That does not a balanced book make.
It takes two to get married and two to screw up a marriage.
It would be interesting to see interviews, like the NY times does of both sides in a failed marriage.
But from what I've seen so far in the on line sample, with one exception, this is yet another, "men are all wrong." type of quasi feminist screed.
It's a shame that this book seem to have a bias.
There are men who have been trapped in equally bad marriages, but instead of telling all, they move on and make a comeback with somebody who better appreciates them.
And if any of the women interviewed in this book, need to know it, post "courageous grey divorce," two things are at work.....
Guys, even those, "losers" that these women ostensibly tossed out of their unhappy lives...........
Are generally more successful than these women ever will be.
And "Hypergamy" and that is when the younger women out there are smart enough to team up with the the older and generally on the average, more successful guys that these women tossed out.
I wish those interviewed in this book, well, as in enjoy their independent lives without a guy.
Because post 55, there are many times more women trending toward three times the number of women to men and the men are in a position to be calling the relationship shots.
